What is FaR Out? We are a non-profit volleyball club that strives to provide a family-friendly environment for girls to improve in the sport of volleyball. We began as Kentwood Volleyball Club then merged with Forest Hills Central HS to create FaR Out (Falcons & Rangers). We have since expanded and offer services to participants from a variety of schools throughout West Michigan. What do we offer? Competitive Club Teams National level: DFFO (www.dffoelite.org) Regional & Local: FaR Out Practice Structure: 2.5 hours with the first 30 minutes working with a specific position or on a specific skill. Practices are run by our lead coaches. Regional teams will begin practicing the week of Dec. 10, local teams will begin Jan. 7 Practice facilities: Valleywood Middle School, East Kentwood High School, Davenport University, Legacy Christian Middle School, GR Courthouse Practice times (either 6-8:30 or 6:30-9 p.m.) o Regional #1, #4, & #5 Monday/Wednesday o Regional #2 & #3 Wednesday/Thursday o 15 Local Either Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Friday o 14 Local Either Monday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday o 13 Local Monday/Tuesday Tournaments: see attached schedule Fees o Regional: $1300 o Local: $600 Payment Options o Option 1: Pre-payment plan If you pay your club fees in full by Dec. 7, your tryout fee will be applied toward your club fees. This means that regional players would pay $1250 and local would pay $550. Cash or check only for option 1. o Option 2: Two-payments Your first payment would be due Dec. 7 and your second payment would be due Jan. 4. Regional payments would be $650 and local payments would be $300 each. Cash, check, or credit card is accepted for this option. o Option 3: Four payments You can break your fees into four payments, but a $5 fee is added each month. Regional payments would be $330 each month and local payments would be $155 each month. Payments are due Dec. 7, Jan. 4, Feb. 1, and March 1. Cash, check or credit card is accepted for this option. o You can access the credit card payments on our website. o If you choose to pay by check always mail it to us. Please do not give to coaches. o Late payments will result in a $25 late charge. Payment option choices must be made at tryout #1.
