CALLING ALL TEENS!!

Come join the YMCA Black & Latino Achievers (B.L.A.) program at its 2012 fall program kickoff event. B.L.A. is one of the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicagos youth development program. This program fosters the academic, personal and career development of AfricanAmerican and Latino youth enrolled in the 7 th-12th grades. At this event you will learn more about the B.L.A. program and get a sneak peak at the 2012-2013 program line-up. This fun-filled event will also give you the opportunity to participate in Team-Building, Open Gym, Step Aerobics & Zumba, Nutrition & Wellness (make your own yogurt parfaits!), B.L.A. 101, and Leadership Development activities! You will meet other teens from around the city, make some great new friends and be introduced to the amazing B.L.A. family This is one event you do not want to miss! PLEASE WEAR/BRING CLOTHING FOR EXERCISE & SWIMMING Each participant will receive a guest pass to the YMCA and free lunch.

This event will consist of a fun, interactive college prep workshop, followed by a field trip to the 100 Black Men College Scholarship Fair being held at the UIC Forum. (meet at DePaul 1 E.
