4. Evaluation criteria: Proposed test procedure to confirm whether the implementation satisfies the requirements as set out.

Before the bridge is tested to ensure it meets the requirements of testing, the bridge must first be evaluated to ensure it has met all physical requirements outlined in the project specification. To do this, all aspects of the bridge must fall within the constraints of the dimensions outlined in the project specifications. This must be measured with a fine ruler to ensure accuracy in measurements and that the bridge is of the correct size. To achieve this, measuring each element of the bridge before it is constructed into an individual work to ensure compliance is critical. Once measurements are completed and confirmed, the bridge must then be weighed to ensure that it is less than 100 grams as described in the project specifications. Using an electronic scale, the weight of the bridge must be properly measured to again ensure compliance and that all physical aspects of the bridge comply with specifications. Following physical testing, the bridge must then be tested for both usability and suitability. To ensure the usability of the bridge as a load bearing platform, a toy car must be rolled across the platform with a single push which will reflect whether the bridge can handle physical objects pressing down on it. The suitability can be then tested by using a suspended container to provide downwards force on the bridge, starting from a small weight and slowly increasing until a 25kg mass is used or the deflection of the bridge becomes unsustainable. This will allow the implementation of the bridge to be thoroughly tested to ensure it meets project specifications.
