    Thank you for your letterof 12 September to the Home on behalf of Mrs Julia O'Owyer about the Government's response to the extradition review. I am replying as Minister responsible for extradition matters. I recognise, of course, the understandable interest Mrs O'Owyer has in respect of the outcome of the extradition review Sir Scott Baker's review of the UK's extradition arrangements was published on 18 October 2011. It has always been the Home Secretary's intention to consider the findings of the extradition review alongside the recommendations made in reports by the Home Affairs Select Committee and the Joint Committee on Human Rights. The Govern~ resp~ee reports shortly.
