Method

> Instruct client for the continuity of administration of the following medicines as prescribed by the physician: - Metronidazole - Protexin Probiotics - Paracetamol - Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate > Inform clients on the side effects of the following drugs given > Instruct mother of the client to properly comply on the medications > Give emphasis on the right time and right dose of the drugs to be given

Exercise

> Inform the need of the client to have a daily exercise > Encourage mother to have a walk with her child especially early in the morning > If possible, advise the mother to let her child play > Encourage to have stretching of hands and feet

Treatment

> Encourage mother to have a regular check-up with their physician > Instruct mother to routinely check client for further observations > Teach mother to keep an eye on the appearance of the clients stool

Health Teaching

> Teach mother as well as to the family and most importantly to the client the proper hand washing > Instruct the significant others to promote a proper hygiene

> Teach the proper food handling > Teach the family the susceptible microorganism that can cause diseases to the GI tract including where, when and how to get these kinds of microorganisms. O-PD > Instruct mother to comply on the scheduled check up of the client to the OPD > Give emphasis on the need and benefits to get when conforming on the following check ups Diet > Follow the _____ diet as ordered > Avoid eating street foods > Start eating cooked vegetables and fruits > Increase fluid intake
