SECURE DATA TRANSACTION USING JAVA

SYNOPSIS

The aim this project is give the security while transferring a file. This project uses BASE 64 algorithm for encryption. In this project the file which to be is encrypted and converted into an xml file.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective of this project is transmits a file in a secured manner. This project uses the Base64 algorithm for encryption and decryption. This project uses the XML in order to increase the transmission speed of file.

EXISTING SYSTEM

In the existing system the data transmitted from the client to server and vice versa are given security for the file as the whole. There may be a chance for the data to be lost after the encryption process as the file is divided into packets before transmission. Drawbacks: Loss of packets while receiving in the client side. No security for the client. Information not collected properly

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is developed in JAVA. The aim of project is to give the security to the authorized client . It uses TCP/IP which gives the acknowledgement. BENEFITS: The benefits of the proposed system is No chance of loss of packets in the client side. Buffering of data. Data are automatically rearranged after it collects in the destination. More security using the xml file transfer

Operating system : Windows2000, XP Software used : JAVA (j2sdk )

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Processor RAM Hard Disk : Intel Pentium IV : 256 MB : 20 GB

CONCLUSION
This project is given the security to the authorized client for view the information from the server by using the TCP/IP there is acknowledgement is given when the data is send to the server or the data is received in the client.
