90 exceptional people who will shape the future of business

From the Director

Introducing the IMD MBA Class of 2012

Dear Recruiter, Today, companies are faced with an increasingly complex working environment that demands exceptional global leadership. The 90 international professionals of the IMD MBA Class of 2012 represent 46 nationalities with diverse backgrounds and skills and an average of seven years of work experience. We carefully select participants who have demonstrated solid intellectual ability, strong career progression, leadership potential, and excellent interpersonal skills. During the admissions process, we spend at least ten hours per candidate including a full day assessment centre to ensure that he/she is right for our program. Once accepted each candidate goes through a full background check conducted by an independent agency to verify previous employment and education information. During the IMD one year MBA program, these highly talented individuals further enhance their skills through a dynamic mix of business fundamentals, self-development and real world experiences both at IMD and across the globe. A constant interplay between knowledge, action and reflection builds their business and leadership skills, preparing graduates to lead themselves, teams and organizations. Our corporate recruiters value in particular their maturity, self awareness and hands on approach to business issues. Through a Career Services curriculum fully integrated in the program, we work closely with each candidate to ensure the best individual post-MBA career option. Likewise our corporate recruiters benefit from personalized assistance in identifying talent that fits their organizational needs, in determining the most suitable recruiting approach and in taking charge of all details for their recruiting events at IMD. Should you be interested in contacting these future global leaders, please have a look at our recruiting activities listed at the back of this brochure. We look forward to meeting you.
