AAR Uganda Celebrates 1000 Facebook Fans, milestone rewards its Loyal Facebook fans.

12th July 2012; Kampala UgandaAAR Uganda rewarded its 999th Facebook Fan. The 999th Fan received a gift hamper, a First Aid kit and a Certificate of Appreciation from AAR Uganda. Our 999th Facebook fan is Patricia Achan from Gulu. She is working with Watoto Childcare Ministries Gulu. On 25 April 2012, AAR hit the 1000th fans mark. To celebrate the news, AAR Uganda launched the AAR Kaasa Campaign to reward its loyal Fans. Kaasa is luganda slang for a thousand. AAR actively started rewarding all their fans in April 2012 by giving everyone a chance to get involved and stand out from the crowd for a better chance to win free airtime. Different airtime Serial numbers are posted daily onto their wall after a particular time interval. Whoever activates the airtime serial numbers first becomes the winner. This will run until August 2012. AAR Uganda realized the impact that social media has on the growth of any business entity and decided to take it on seriously. The AAR Facebook page started on 27th June 2011 and the team

has managed to grow the numbers to over 1060. AAR has staff social media policy guidelines which have guided them. The page is successful because the team is passionate about Social media. AAR hopes to set up an institute to train social media for Healthcare communication skills in the near future.
