Open your favorite browser (e.g. Google chrome, Mozilla, etc.)

Type in www.animoto.com

Press enter

This will appear. This is Animotos homepage.

You can either sign up (its free)

or Sign in with your Facebook account

Type in your email ad here

Then type in your password here

Click Log In

This will appear

You can tick any of these boxes

Click submit

or ignore this first and click Not now

Welcome to your Animoto dashboard!

Click here to start creating a video

Youll be asked to choose a style for your video.

Scroll through the available styles and choose what you prefer.

You can also sort the styles by any of the above

Lets sort by Popular for this exercise

Click here for a preview of this style

Click make a 30-second video for free

This is where you create and edit your video

Click here if you want to change the style of your video

Otherwise, click here to proceed to add music to your video

This is where you can pick songs found in Animoto

You can also upload your own music using this

This shows all the images youve selected for your video

You can use Spotlight to make an image appear longer in your video

To use Spotlight, click the desired image to Spotlight

Then click here

Now this will appear 3 seconds longer in your video

You can select more than one image to Spotlight

As long as this does not exceed 30 seconds

You can also add text to your video by clicking here

Type in your desired heading here

And your text here

Click Save

You now have text in your video

You can reorder the position of any image in your video

By dragging the image to your desired position

Now the position of the image has changed
