drug can be administered in higher dose than during pregnancy. Because there is no longer any risk of injury to a fetus. reason the condition occurs is usually retention of some placental material the mother may be taken to surgery.to make sure all placental fragments have been removed.

maybe occur post partally as a symptoms of PIH typically develop 6 to 24 hrs after birth. seizure occurs more than 72 hrs after birth are probably not the result of PIH but result of some caused unrelated to child bearing.

with chronic hypertension need frequent monitoring during a future pregnancy to prevent PIH symptoms from occuring again.

Seperation of symphysis pubis

Many

mothers may feel some discomfort at the symphasis pubis because of relaxation of the joint preparatory to birth.if fetus is unusually large or fetal position is not optimal the ligaments of the symphasis pubis may be so stretched by birth that they actually tear.
