There are many without whom this work – including its predecessors in this series – could never have been brought before its readers. For this, and all involved, I wish to express heartfelt thanks and grateful acknowledgement. First and foremost is our Heavenly Father, the Creator Spirit, ‘Papa’. Where would we be without Him? Truly Jesus spoke when he said of his relationship with Him, Of myself I can do nothing. He is the Source of All, in Whom we Live and move and have our Being. To You, beloved Papa, my gratitude is boundless and absolute beyond words.

Then, it will be no surprise to the reader, comes Jesus, Papa’s Anointed Messenger. He has befriended me, tutored me, Loved me unconditionally, led me with infinite patience, and won my total trust, loyalty, following, devotion and undying Love. I honour him totally, unwaveringly. Wondrously, gloriously, tenderly, magnificently, he Loves and honours every single one of us, equally, unfalteringly and without favour. How glorious shall be the day when we are all brothers to each other as he has been to me, and in Truth, is to us all. On that day will the Kingdom of Heaven – ‘the real world’, the forgiven, healed, redeemed world of limitless peace, joy and Love – be well and truly operational in this dream of a world.

How does one find words to acknowledge the Holy Spirit? All I know is that my heart impels me to acknowledge Him. For He is the connectedness to the true, Whole (Holy) Self of us all while we dream of separation from our Source and from our Self; the Voice for God within us; the Voice that unceasingly reminds us that we are all, along with Jesus, One in the Sonship of God; the Voice that will speak with us of the Truth of Eternity, until we are at One, again, with the Truth of Eternity.

Now, my beloved wife, Theresa. In 1967 I asked Jesus to bring to me someone, the right person, to share my earthly journey Homeward. Within four months he fulfilled my request by bringing us together – from an ocean and a continent apart – in the unlikeliest of circumstances; synchronicity functioning at its magnificent best. Caring, sharing, giving, steadfast, long-suffering to a fault and stalwart are just a few of the terms that come to mind in describing Theresa. In this world of time and place, she is joy and delight to me beyond measure or description. And in addition to that, her support, patience and contribution in proofing and making suggestions for improving the manuscript and a thousand other ways as I worked on it, all have been invaluable, and in which I am truly, deeply blessed. Above all these precious qualities is the selfless but Self-full Love she emanates from her beautiful heart and radiant soul. Thank you, Darling, for being my beloved Companion of the Way.

To me, a kindergarten child in the world of computers, Tim is an unsung hero, who cannot go without mention here. Introduction

With this, the seventh and final book in the progressive, sequential Kingdom series, we reach the destination of our seven-step journey, from the imagined hell of separation, brokenness, division, uncertainty, limitation and ‘death’, back to our undivided, limitless, uninterruptibly, Wholly joyful (just like Jesus : )) One Self in the Source of Life, Love and eternal, ineffable Being: the Creator Spirit … Papa God. The journey has taken us from a state of mind that believes in – and thus perceives – an external world of spiritual darkness, where all appears potentially threatening, conflicted; where judgement is deemed necessary to decide what is right from wrong, friend from foe, safety from danger, beneficial from detrimental … to an internal realm, where we begin to discern things from a totally different perspective.

Here, having taken the six previous, consecutive steps, our mind has (as we so, freely, choose) now arrived at the place of readiness to make the absolute choice, decision, to join fully, unequivocally, forever, with our heart – repudiating, abandoning forever the ego and its false ideas of darkness, guilt, fear, judgement, grievances, doubt, division (another term for conflict), mortality … Thereby is the door open for us to accept, and become fully Identified, engaged with our true, all-empowered-by-Love Christ-Self, unified in Oneness of heart-mind with the entire Sonship of God and with the Creator Spirit – just like Jesus, the example-life for us to emulate. This engaging is a sharing, a joining in holy (Whole) relationship, all harmonised as One in perfect Love, peace and joy, forever.

True forgiveness effortlessly enables this because we forgive not each seeming individual person or event, but all, as a point of Principle, past, present and/or future. The joining of heart and mind is a Wholehearted, balanced relationship in which we are unreservedly Loving, gentle, caring, accepting, compassionate, truly helpful and Wholly harmless in our view of ourself and our brethren in the Sonship of God.

The seven steps of our journey-of-the-mind from the valley of the shadow of death to the summit of the Hill of the Lord equate with the titles of this seven-book series. It begins with Jesus’ injunction to Seek ye First the Kingdom... (book one). If we remain steadfast in our seeking – within – it is inevitable that we will arrive at the next step, namely, Finding the Kingdom Within (book two). Having found the Kingdom within, the subsequent step is Entering the Kingdom Within (book three). Upon entering, we commence Living FROM the Kingdom Within (book four).

As we gradually become acclimatised to this spiritually-elevated state of heart-and-mind, functioning in complete unity and harmony, so, commensurately, do we become cognisant, one step at a time, of an increasing level of inner discernment – rising effortlessly in conscious awareness above the battleground of Earth-mind perception. With our greater positivity, inner peace and happiness, others (those who are ready) begin to notice a difference of energy starting to emanate from us, and will be inwardly prompted to enquire of us about this new, refined, uplifting energy. From this we can spontaneously proceed with Sharing the Kingdom Within (book five). This accords with Jesus’ counsel to me in March 1968:

Do not go out looking for people with whom to share your message, since you know not their hearts and minds. Rather, I will bring them to you; for I know the hearts and minds of all, and will bring only those who are ready to receive your offering, and will inspire you, and place in your mouth the words for you to speak to their hearts.

The more we follow this counsel the more others will become drawn to enquire of us. Then, in due season, a tipping point arises in our spontaneous sharing, and it suddenly expands exponentially to the place of Extending the Kingdom Within (book six). The sudden expansion is effected by events beyond our personal control, and with no striving or effort on our part, all being implemented from the living Spirit within us, in response to our desire, willingness and unswerving commitment to being truly helpful and Wholly harmless.

This opens the door for our Wholehearted joining in unity and holy relationship and purpose – manifesting the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth from our own within, where It already exists, intact, into the external world – with all who are brought to us for that joining. Only by joining, at the level of unified heart and mind (‘heart-mind’) can the gap of separation be closed and the healing – of pestilence and every form of ill (A Course in Miracles, T-28.III.4:3) that incubates and manifests from within that gap – of mind and body, occur. It is by the sharing and extending of joy, peace and Love that – again, without any conscious effort of mind or body on our part – the emergence from our own Self within of the realisation of our BEING the Kingdom Within (this, book seven) arises.

The cover illustration for this book is based on a vision experienced by Theresa. Here is what she wrote about it:

On the top of the Hill of the Lord is a large, single-storey dwelling, with a flat roof, built from what appears to be pure, white alabaster. The East-facing side of the house has a large, open-fronted atrium. In the atrium is a simple, yet elegant, water feature, rising from a spring, forming a circular pool about two metres across, with a small fountain, rising about a metre, in the middle. This symbolises Jesus’ words to the woman of Samaria: Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)

The atrium leads out onto a spacious patio/terrace overlooking a beautiful garden, extending around and down the hillside in many natural terraces. There is an abundance of colourful flowers scattered on the terraces, along with olive, pomegranate and cypress trees distributed randomly, adding to the splendour of the scene.

A little stream flows from the pool in the atrium, down through the garden to the valley below, where a few goats are browsing. There is a pathway in the rock which meanders down through the garden.

We are standing on the patio/terrace with Jesus, looking down across the garden at the beautiful view. I am on his right-hand side and you [Brian] are on his left. The knowledge/awareness is fully with us that this is our true home.

It is, of course, a representation of the true Home of all the fragments, rejoined as One in heart and mind, functioning – creating through expressing and extending Love and Light – in unity and relationship, purpose and Being as the One Son of the Holy One: Papa. The ascending of the seven steps means we have completed the journey in our mind of ascending the Hill of the Lord, and arrived at our forever-Home.

It is not just for this vision but also, cumulatively, for all the inestimable support and input that Theresa has so lovingly and devotedly contributed to our holy relationship over the years, helping to facilitate the writing of this Kingdom series that her name, appropriately, appears with mine in authorship of this title.

The Lord’s Prayer states:

Thy Kingdom come;

Thy Will be done

on Earth as it is in Heaven.

From the day I met Olga Park (my spiritual mentor), in 1965, it was clear that this was the focal point of her heart’s desire – for the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Olga designed, produced and hand-illuminated a quantity of bookmarks on parchment, headed The Essential Teachings of Jesus. These, she stated as:

To desire good for all men and to forgive one another. – Matt. 5:44, 45, Matt. 6:14, 15, and John 13:35

To cultivate our own spiritual faculties to the utmost. – Matt. 5:48; Luke 24:19; and John 10:34,14:12

To pray and work for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. – Matt. 6:9,10; and Luke 10:9, 17:20, 21

John writes – effectively, to us all:

Beloved, now are we [i.e., already] the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he [Jesus] shall appear [to our conscious awareness – which can, will only happen when this is our Wholehearted, earnest, unflagging, unequivocal desire], we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is [and as we, all, truly are]. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he [Jesus] is pure. (1 John 3:2-3)

How, then, do we purify ourself? By desiring to be like him and asking for his Help, which he will unfailingly give, Freely, Lovingly and Immediately. That Help will always be practicable for the place on our journey Home where we perceive ourself as being, but we must be open to receiving it and willing, committedly, to live by it to the best of our readiness so to do.

Jesus’ Earth-life embodiment – especially as evinced during his three-year mission – was an example-life for us all to aspire to follow. This can only be possible when it is our heart’s desire above all things, to grow, one step at a time, toward that goal, without separating ourself away from the world around us. It is a case of being in the world but not of it – just as was Jesus.

Those of us whose heart’s desire this is must stay amongst, and be willing to continue engaging with the world around us. How else can we live, demonstrate, Be an example-life for our brothers who are ready to follow, adopt that example? We, just like Jesus, are the Christ (the Son of God), but it doth not yet appear to our slumbering mind that, as yet, dreams of separation from reality. Just as Jesus brought (exemplified, manifested) the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, so, in order for us to be like him we must desire, be unequivocally willing, to join with him by each of us playing our unique, integral, indispensable part in creating, manifesting that Kingdom on Earth.

In A Course of Love, which Jesus tells us is a continuation from A Course in Miracles, he describes the slumberers amongst us as dwelling in the house of illusion, and those of us who desire unswervingly to function from an awareness of (our Christ)-Self as existing within the House of Truth, aka the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. In T3:11 he says:

During the time I spent on earth I did not dwell in the house of illusion but in the House of Truth. What this means is that I was aware of the truth and lived by the truth. I was aware of the Peace of God and lived within the Peace of God. I was aware of the Love of God and the Love of God lived within me.

This is what you are now called to do:

Be aware that the Love of God lives within you.

Live within the Peace of God.

Live by the Truth.

This could be restated as you are love, you live in peace and you live by or in accord with the truth.

Further on in that chapter he says:

To realize the difference between truth and illusion is not to call one right and the other wrong but to simply recognize what they are. This is an important distinction that must be kept in mind as we proceed so that you are not tempted to judge those living in illusion or their ‘reality’. Their ‘reality’ does not exist. Believing in the reality of illusion will never make it the truth.

In T3:9 he tells us that dwelling in the House of Truth is ‘an idea of love’, and only that which comes from love is real; only that which fits within the laws of love is reality; all that love would not create does not exist … if you live from love and within love’s laws you will create only love.

The idea for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth has been a continuous thread, passing through these seven ‘Kingdom’ volumes, holding them together in an ordered, structured, progressive sequence. Let us now take an overview of the implementation of Jesus’ Great Rescue Programme, commencing at his incarnation, which activated, initiated the leavening of the Second Measure of Meal (the epoch from the time of Jesus’ incarnation to the latter part of the twentieth century). During the Last Supper Jesus told his friends that he had many things to say to them, but they were not yet ready, so he would send another Comforter – the Holy Spirit – Who would guide you into all truth … and he will shew you things to come … (John 16:13)

After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to his friends in a locked room (sheltering from those who might be hounding them as followers of Jesus) and said to them, Peace be unto you. Then he breathed on them, and saith unto them, "Receive ye the Holy Spirit". (John. 20:19, 22)

In October 1997 the Holy Spirit appeared to me in a cloud and said, I AM the Spirit of Truth, and after a slight pause, the Holy Breath (see Seek ye First the Kingdom... Part Two, Vignette 4, for details). The Holy Spirit, or Spirit of Truth, has been that other Comforter, just as Jesus said at the Last Supper – throughout the two millennia of the Second Measure of Meal.

We are now in the early decades of the Third Measure of Meal and Jesus has been appearing (visually and/or audibly) to untold embodied people around the world, and has given us A Course in Miracles and A Course of Love, as well as innumerable other communications (and still more being given and received), to Help us understand and commit to joining with him and all others who are ready for such Wholehearted spiritual joining. In A Course of Love he tells us the time of (our need for, dependence upon, the intermediary Help of) the Holy Spirit (the Second Measure of Meal) is now over and the Time of Christ (the Third Measure of Meal) is now with us, the time when direct awareness of, reliance upon, At-One-ment with our true Christ-Self is emerging, thereby obviating the need for intermediaries.

However hard it may be for many of us to accept that the time of the Holy Spirit is now over, let us not forget that the Great Rescue Programme is a progressive process. Nevertheless, the Holy Spirit remains accessible still for all who feel a need, a desire, for His Help as we move through this transformational, transitional stage of the Great Awakening. The Spirit of Truth, as a creation of the Creator, is forever present with us, blessing our creations (as distinct from our fabrications).

By now we can be ready (if we so desire and are willing) to accept that we are the Christ – though, because the Christ is Papa’s One, undivided Son, until we desire, choose and commit to joining with our brethren in the Sonship, in unified heart and mind (or heart-mind) relationship, purpose and function, we cannot fully experience and live and Be and express, without limit, the Truth of our Christ-Self. It is by joining, uniting in Loving, holy relationship that our God-given power of creation becomes accessible – restored – to us again, just as demonstrated to us by our elder brother, Jesus.

Very few amongst us – in the early decades of the leavening of the Third Measure of Meal – are fully conscious of and functioning, expressing outwardly, through their embodied form, as the Christ-Self (as exemplified by Jesus) within us all. However, emergence into, or toward, awareness of that state of unified heart-mind Being is increasing daily throughout the fragmented Sonship as the leavening, the Awakening, the re-joining, progresses.

It is because most of the fragmented Sonship has not been (and still is not) consciously aware of Being the Christ-Self that an intermediary between our little, limited, persona self and our true, limitless, all-Loving Christ-Self was needed, to keep the message Jesus brought into the world two millennia ago ‘ticking over’; incubating. This is why Jesus called down the Holy Spirit into the Earth. The Holy Spirit, or Spirit of Truth, or Holy Breath, is that intermediary and will lovingly, devotedly, committedly remain so for each and every fragment of the Sonship until, one step at a time, they become willing to change their focus of attention from the horizontal axis of the external world to the vertical axis of spiritual reality within.

By this switch of focus, of emphasis of heart’s desire, Awakening to its reality will, inevitably arise from within. Then can the incorporation of the two axes into one balanced, harmonised, functional application begin to take place. This means manifesting the vertical, or divine, in the horizontal, while still in human, embodied form; the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

Throughout the Second Measure of Meal epoch, the Holy Spirit has been constantly speaking the Truth of our divine reality into our slumbering minds. The fact that most have not been consciously hearing Him makes no difference, because His speaking has been to our subconscious mind. Then, when the moment is right for each of us, it will gradually begin to rise to our conscious awareness. There has never been a greater moment than now for this rising – leavening – to be occurring: the change-over from the Second Measure of Meal epoch to the Third Measure of Meal epoch. The Second Measure of Meal was the time of the Holy Spirit; the Third Measure of Meal is the realising of the Time of Christ within us all, by which union and relationship and functional purpose can occur, is occurring and shall continue to occur.

That intermediary, change-over phase between the two epochs means we are in the period in our journey in which there can be some confusion in our Awakening minds between a feeling of need for, dependency on, the Help of what seems like another entity, namely the Holy Spirit, and our true Self … our re-unified Christ-Self. Even though that Christ-Self is our true Identity, it will seem, to our transitioning consciousness, like a Being other than ourself. That confusion is of no consequence, no cause for concern, for two reasons. One, because the Holy Spirit and Christ are of One Mind and have the same message: that we are the One Son of, and in, the One Father/Creator. Our steadfast commitment of desire, of focus, will gradually bring us to clarity of awareness of our Christ-Self, our true, eternal, One, unified Identity. The second reason is that this change-over phase is short-lived, although its apparent duration, in linear-time terms, will depend on our own willingness to move through it to acceptance of our One, shared, undivided, true Identity as Christ.

That becomes our reality when we desire, and make the committed choice for joining in Loving, joyous, holy relationship with Jesus and/or any brother – and ultimately, all – whose desire is for right-mindedness, Whole-mindedness, Awake-mindedness, Truth-Mindedness. Right-mindedness is Christ-Mindedness. It is helpful to keep in mind that during – throughout – this transition, nothing is lost; only gained. By joining in unity and relationship and purpose we must, inevitably, become what we already are: co-creators. ‘We’, by our restoration to perfect unity and relationship and purpose, are the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is abundance without limit.

The stage in the progress of the Great Rescue Programme (the early decades of the leavening of the Third Measure of Meal) to which we can observe we have now arrived is this intermediate, transitional, transformation stage. In this stage we are moving from learning to remembering, to Knowing, experiencing, living, BEING the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth – just as Jesus had remembered, Knew, lived, experienced, shared, extended, manifested the Laws of God, of Heaven, of perfect Love, of limitlessness, here, in the ‘physical’ world of time and place.

BEING the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth is accomplished – manifested in and through us (just as exemplified by Jesus) – by our desire, willingness and commitment to joining in union and relationship and purpose, first of our own heart and mind, and then in union and relationship and purpose with all who similarly desire, and are thereby ready and willing to join with us in holy relationship and purpose. It is only our desire and our willingness for this that will effect it, and no conscious effort of planning or action on our part is required.

We can help our progress through this transitional phase by saying to ourself:

Because I believe, I am now open to receiving and living what has always been Known within me. The unswerving choice for and commitment to believing removes, dispels the defences which have kept that certainty of Knowing from my conscious, uninterruptibly-sustainable awareness and experience.

Would Jesus have taught us to pray

Thy Kingdom come;

Thy Will be done;

on Earth as it is in Heaven …

if the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth was not a real, achievable possibility? He demonstrated Being the Kingdom of Heaven in human form, so we can be certain, from his example, that it is an achievable goal. Only when that has been accomplished with all, and the fragmented, dissociated mind of the Sonship has been restored to full, undisruptible (by the ego), co-operative Oneness, Wholeness of unified heart-mind in the physical world, can Papa reach down and lift up His One Son into the reality, the ecstasy of the eternal Kingdom of Heaven in Spirit.

The ego does not want us to believe the Self – the limitless Christ-Self – can be represented in form. Yet do we not have the example-life of Jesus, appearing amongst us as a man, with all the characteristics of a human being, to demonstrate, prove it is entirely possible – and, in fact, inevitable? Many times throughout this Kingdom series I have shared what I have been assured by Jesus himself, and others in the realms of light, that the Great Rescue Programme is infallible and unstoppable. It is individually delayable, if we are stubborn enough to not want freedom from the misery, sickness and ‘death’ that the mistaken belief in separation guarantees; but ultimately, it is not stoppable.

And for those who believe it may have been possible for him, but impossible for the rest of us, he is recorded as saying, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do …" (John 14:12)

He exhorts us to embrace an attitude of being miracle-ready, or miracle-minded. Are we unwilling to embrace such an idea – especially at this transitional time as we move deeper into the Time of Christ? Yet willingness to live by the Truth is the only offering that is asked of us. We don’t need to Know what is the Truth to live by it because it is the willingness that will open our mind to receiving understanding of the Truth. Willingness to be miracle-minded is willingness to be right-minded. To be right-minded is to be Christ-Minded.

The emergence into the time of the Third Measure of Meal and its leavening – which is what is occurring right now – means that the time of the ego is over. Here is what Jesus tells us about this in T3:14 of A Course of Love:

The death of the ego belief system [for those of us whose steadfast, unremitting desire and choice it is; it is, as always, our free choice, but we must stay vigilant in that choice, because shadow patterns of old-order thinking/behaving fearfully may still remain to dog us for a while without that vigilance] has made way for the birth of the thought system of the truth. The thought system of the ego was based on fear. In this time of transition from one thought system to the other, the most subtle yet significant change is the change from the foundation of fear … to a foundation of love.

… you will begin to believe in such things as benevolence and abundance … will slowly translate all ideas of scarcity into ideas of abundance, all ideas of blame into ideas of benevolence.

… Like a story yet to be written, that which follows the first page will be based upon the first page.

We are writing a new first page, a new Genesis. It begins now. It begins with the rebirth of a Self of love. It begins with the birth of Christ in you and in your willingness to live in the world as the Christ-Self [just as he did, and became our example for living as the elevated Self of form; in other words, the Christ-Self, fully, limitlessly functioning in, or through, form].

Because we are in the intermediary, transitional stage of moving, Awakening, from the Second Measure of Meal consciousness to the Third Measure of Meal consciousness, some of the following chapters and Diary of a Christ Communicant entries reflect the Second Measure of Meal perception, or awareness and some reflect the process of making that transition to the Third Measure of Meal, Time of Christ, consciousness. This can be envisioned as a bridging exercise, to help the reader discern that this intermediary phase at which the Great Rescue Programme has arrived in this time – the early decades of the Third Measure of Meal – and ease the transition of mind and understanding forward from Second Measure of Meal to Third Measure of Meal (Christ) consciousness.

Also, because this is a time of transition, we are transitioning between discernment of Self as Holy Spirit-Self and Christ-Self, and this will be observable on various occasions in this writing, especially in some of the Diary of a Christ Communicant entries at the foot of each chapter. This need not be cause for confusion because the purpose of Holy Spirit is to Awaken us to remembrance that we are Christ-Self.

As with all the volumes in this Kingdom series, several words appear with a capitalised initial letter, such as Love, Truth, Light, Know/Knowing/Knowledge, Now, Whole and even One/Oneness. This is to indicate these words have a meaning beyond the daily use to which they are put in this world. With Love, for example, this indicates divine, perfect, unconditional, unchangeable Love, not as in I love bananas …

For any terms within these chapters with which the reader may be unfamiliar, the Glossary of Terms, starting on page ___ at the back of the book, provides explanations.

All the quotations from the Diary of a Christ Communicant records (at the head and the foot of each chapter) – and anywhere else within the text of this writing – are intended by their Source to equally include each and every fragment of the Sonship, because equality of Being is the true nature of us all. None of us is intended to be – nor, in Truth, can be – excluded from unconditional Love and acceptance by Papa, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, our Christ-Self and all in the Realms of Light, regardless of however low our self-evaluation may appear. Jesus told me in the 1960s that "The message is for him who receives it." This means the message is actually for all, but only as we open our heart-minds to a state of readiness and willingness are we able to receive it and accept it as applying to ourself.

It is my deepest hope and profoundest prayer that all who are ready, willing, eager – in spite, perhaps, of ego-induced trepidation trying to delay progress – and have been brought to this writing, this remembrance of BEING the Kingdom within, will find joy, peace, inspiration, upliftment, Lightening of heart, easing of mind, blessing, encouragement and abundance of Life … And above all, that you may find and experience Love, within these pages, to accompany you on your journey back to union of heart and mind, and remembrance that in each and every one of us is the All of Heaven.

1: Renouncing the Lie by Choosing With the Truth

I serve the command I have received of our Father, to lead my ‘flock’ forward unto the Kingdom of His Eternalness. This service is possible because I am authorised by the Father. Those I authorise are able to serve also because the authorisation gives power to accomplish.

Would a sane mind, we might ask ourself, want to shut itself off from awareness of its true, Whole, undivided Self? Assuredly it would not if it understood that self and Self are not one and the same. Far from it; the choice for remaining in the belief in limitation of ‘mortal self’ excludes the possibility for awareness of eternal, limitless Self. This obfuscation is not done to us: it is self-applied.

So, what is the difference between the ‘two’? One is real, eternal, limitless, all-Knowing, all-giving, all-Loving, and fully endowed with all Power of Creation. This is our true Being: the One, unified Christ-Self. The other, mostly functioning under ego domination, has none of those qualities, and functions in opposition to them all. It could be said, to simplify, or qualify the differences, that One is Light and the other is the absence of Light, i.e., darkness.

And ‘we’, who believe we are, and thus perceive ourselves as separate, ‘mortal human beings’, hover, oscillate between turning to the Light and being oh-so-readily drawn, tempted back toward the dream, the illusion, the unreality of outer darkness. This is duality consciousness. The only way to escape from the Jekyll and Hyde of duality is to choose non-duality. That means eschewing darkness
