About this ebook

Poor little Wilton!

The ten-year-old was dying of a terrible disease, but his Aunt Hilda refused to allow him any peace during his final days.

If he dropped a single speck of melted butter on the tablecloth while eating his warm biscuit with wild cherry marmalade, she chased him away from the table.

Although he was desperately lonely, she brutally killed his pet turtle, the only friend he had. If he walked across the living room, she demanded that he walk around the edge of the cloth rug because she wanted to keep it clean.

There was no end to the grief his Aunt Hilda was bringing into his life.

Then, one day, little Wilton decided to do something about his tormentor.

"Good story, satisfying!"

"Ok, I admit I love a good revenge story. This is a short story, so it is not possible to really give any details. But, I will say it was clever, held my interest and revenge is best served right before jelly toast! Enjoy!" Amazon reviewer

Little Wilton didn’t have long for this earth. Only days after his eighth birthday, he had been diagnosed with a rare form of anemia, a debilitating disease that slowly but surely destroys the red blood cells in the body. From the first, doctors said the disease was incurable but noted that, if he took his medication and led a sedate lifestyle, he might live up to two, maybe three more years. Doctors said his frail body couldn’t handle the stress of going to school, so he would have to remain quietly in the family home, take his medications, and try to live out his final days as peacefully and as comfortably as possible. At the time of the diagnosis, his parents had brought in as part-time nurse to attend to his medical needs and Wilton seemed be living quite comfortably.  Now, two years after the original diagnosis, the frail youngster found himself living in pure hell after a tragic accident befell his parents.

While returning from a dinner party one night, both parents were killed in a head-on car crash and little Wilton was left an orphan. Shortly afterward, the court designated Miss Hilda Westbrook, his mother’s oldest sister, as his new guardian. In his decision, the judge noted that
