CHAPTER THREE

The Joy of Cooking With Hidden Recipes

CONCLUSION

INTRODUCTION

Let's face it, these days, most of us have not much time to spend in the kitchen. There is always something to do, places to go and people to see, and the time you spend at work is not included. Takeout or go to a restaurant is a nice solution to the problem, right? It does, as a short-term solution, but it may be cutting off your nose and your face as a long-term solution. If you could copy and cook recipes at home from restaurants it would save you money and much more while not missing out on the good things in life.

It's pricey to go to restaurants and take out, not just on your hip pocket, but on your waistline too. The taste is fantastic but what goes into the food you don't influence. You don't really know what you're doing. Some restaurants will provide you with a breakdown of the nutritional value of what you eat, but it's not the same as doing it on your own. The drawback is that the meals always taste better and sometimes you just have a craving for food in the restaurant. It's the whole kit, more than the comfort.

Have you ever sat with the flyers in your hands for three different restaurants thinking about what you want to eat and you can't decide? In reality, going to every place and picking up the dishes you want from each of them would be perfect. This is simply out of the question. So you make compromises. After all it is better than nothing.

What if you could get them served at home? It can be achieved, and at a fraction of the eating out rate. But, there is the time factor. Why do you bother cooking at home, if it takes longer? The thing is, it most likely doesn't take any longer. The idea is that it does, but if you were to look, you would really be shocked to see how much time it takes for example to cook ribs or go to a restaurant to eat ribs. Yes, it depends on the recipe, but you don't have to cook ribs too long and you don't really spend much of that time in the kitchen. If you're at home you also get to catch up on other items, which is an additional bonus.

If the taste of restaurant food is what you want, you can get it at home. There are actually several cookbooks on the market, which have cloned the chain restaurants ' signature recipes. In reality, they've managed to do it with supermarket ingredients, and they taste like the real deal, so if you've got a craving for dishes from three different restaurants, chances are you can do it at home.
