      I would recommend it as a good guide for learning new vocabulary. I like a concept of the book- Spanish words for travelers because there is so many travellers around the world.

      These books are excellent for those looking to improve their confidence in building sentences that make more sense to Spanish speakers. I highly recommend this product if you have prior exposure to Spanish since most questions don't come with a word bank.

      So far this has been very helpful for me. I love the approach of learning the words that I will need and use the most verses learning from the process of basic grammar. This has allowed me to start using what I've learned so far right away, which has helped me to retain the information better as I go. I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more my Spanish vocabulary can learn as I continue to listen to this book again.

      For those who didn't know I suggest to read first the book related to this, titled Spanish for Beginner same author. This book has a useful content of vocabulary. The words are easy to familiarize and understand. It's also teach us the proper way of speaking from how to construct the sentences with proper noun and pronoun to used. Mastering indeed!

      I have never purchased a better tool for learning Spanish. He teaches both the fundamentals and pronunciation. I skipped some basics for I watched some videos in improving my pronunciation. This time, I want to focus with vocabulary development. I comment the effort of the author to gather 3,000 words, helpful and mostly used words that are very important for learners of the said language. I know it is overwhelming so I take time to digest and apply the words that I remember. Still, a good book for starters.

      This book has many useful and considerable new vocabulary. I also like the usage of words in meaningful sentences for better understanding. After reading more than hundred of words, I tried constructing my own sentences. I was very challenging since I am very new to this language but I am learning it for my foreign clients. This book is helpful and it will be your stepping stone for the mastery of the Spanish language.

      Aside from being a beginner, you have to take one step ahead further in every language you want to learn. After taking down the head start you must face the second play which is definitely mastering it.


      The unimaginable thing in this book is that it guarantees the learner to master the Spanish words at the end of the book by just the use of 3000 most commonly used Spanish context. Unimaginable yet, this book is one step forward to mastering the language. The authors filtered the words enough to be comprehensible for young minds that deserves to be nourished. Plus the fact that there are detailed definitions in juxtaposition of the words is a nice thing to root for. Widen your vocabulary and take this book as a guide. Fun fact is that this also comes with fun notes and tips and tricks the authors has written themselves to help the readers learn more effectively.

      I like a concept of the book- Spanish words for travelers. It’s got a vast collection of words and good examples I can use. However, the layout of book itself isn’t ideal. There’s no order of why words are numbered the way they are and no theme. So when you are in a situation to look up words, you can’t find them.

      A comprehensive guide for Spanish learners. The thematic approach of the material makes it much easier to jump into Spanish without feeling like you're reading a textbook. Sure you could find most of the information contained in this book online but not in the same format or organization. I recommend this book alongside a frequency dictionary if you're looking to learn Spanish as quickly as possible.

      If you already have a basic understanding of Spanish, this is a great book to help improve your Spanish vocabulary. It is not a grammar book and will not help you in this respect. This book is very practical in it's layout, in that it groups words into themes; I have an easier time memorizing words that are related. They have sections on emotional words or medical words, so on and so forth. I found this book to be a useful tool in helping augment my vocabulary.

      This pick should not shock anyone. Spanish has consistently been a go-to language for English speakers to learn because of its reasonableness and wide reach. Indeed, it's additionally probably the simplest language to learn for English speakers.

      I've been studying Spanish language for quite long now. This language is much more complex from what we know. Luckily there are books like these that gives word more examples for better understanding. 3,000 words may sound not much but I can assure you that you can definitely use this in conversations with Spanish speaking  person whenever you got the chance. All in all I would recommend this book to those who want to learn Spanish language by themselves, this is a great start in exploring new language.

      Learning is easy with this. I learned a lot. Since the Spanish Language was relatively influenced my native language (Filipino) I know a lot of words already. This one is really for basic and for the begginers who wants to learn. The thing with this, I learned about the masculinity, feminity and the neutral use of the words that Spanish Language have.       This is a standard of deep Spanish words that if you want to learn or want to apply in your conversations with foreigners.

      You will learn a lot in this book. He only has 3000 words but there are lessons to be learned. There is also basic stuff referred to in words.       Mastering Spanish Words is that one book you need to converse in Spanish easily. It has a wide array of Spanish words ranging from words to simple sentences and questions. With over 3000 words this is the perfect vocabulary builder for speaking Spanish.

      Although it has a wide selection of words, the book lacks organization. It could use tables or matrix to divide the sentences in Spanish and English. It might get confusing sometimes because of the alignment of words so using tables could make it much more organized.

      All in all, it's a great read self-help books for people who want to learn Spanish. I'd be rating it a 4 out 5.

      Mastering Spanish Words is a book that assists readers to master Spanish vocabularies. Although this book is focused on basic words, it is not suitable to use if you are trying to learn conversational Spanish since it doesn't cover the sentence patterns. Nevertheless, it includes almost all parts of speech, and it is written in a well-organized manner.

      A relatively large vocabulary is crucial for understanding and participating in conversations; that's why if you want to start speaking Spanish, you should expand your knowledge about the lexicon first.

      Learning a new language always fascinate me and I am glad that I met this book. The listed words, phrases, and sentences are useful but I wish they were categorized or at least arranged Alphabetically, for easier ways in memorizing. Nonetheless, this book is a good starter for those who want to learn Spanish. It would take time to learn and memorize but with this book, your time will be worth it.

    Introduction

    How many words do we use when we speak?

    According to some publications, while a two-year old baby uses around two hundred words, a beginner in any language needs around two thousand to communicate. And an expert user can employ up to forty thousand!

    But knowing words and their meanings is hardly enough.

    If you want to learn Spanish to actually use it, be it for travelling, working or studying, you need to really master your vocabulary: you need to know synonyms, you need to know which prepositions are used next to which verbs and how words change their meaning in different contexts.

    Do you want an example? Look at the Spanish word sal, which is both a noun (salt) and the imperative form of verb salir (to go out). That is, the word salt changes its meaning completely in sentences such as ¡Sal de aquí! (Get out of here!) and Pásame la sal (Hand me the salt).

    In this book we offer a comprehensive list of the 3.000 most frequent words of the Spanish language, according to the Real Academia Española, Spain's official royal institution dedicated to the Spanish language.

    We did not just include the words and their meanings, but also eventual indications for you to understand the use of the word, since translations are otherwise incomplete. For example, we indicate if it’s a masculine or feminine word, if it’s a plural word and if it belongs to a verbal tense that does not translate literally into English (such as the subjunctive mode or the imperfect past tense). Additionally, we indicate if the word has more than one meaning, as in the salt example, so you can avoid confusion.

    And, of course, for each word we include a practical example, a sentence that in a few words tells a story and helps you understand how the word is used in the real Spanish-speaking world.

    We encourage you to read these sentences out loud, to copy them, to use them in conversations until you can really grasp their use and meaning in context. By the time you’re finished with this book, your vocabulary will be comparably better, richer and wider.
