Preface
We know this to be true; to speak
is to converse or articulate sounds. My connotation of the term means to express one’s self either vocally or in written words. Having a voice is important because it allows us to articulate the speech we choose to vocalize or express those written words. Every day we, as human beings, communicate with one another in a number of ways, whether it is through our mouths, our hands or our bodies. We compose speeches. We whisper, talk, cry, dance, sing, and even perform, all by speaking
.
But in addition to conversation, I believe that listening is one of the most significant qualities that anyone can attain. Like a muscle we have to exercise our listening skills in order to perceive and appreciate the sounds
