    Introduction

Buying golf clubs does not seem like a difficult process until you walk into a golf equipment store or browse online for them. Then it hits you: how in the world will you select the right type of golf clubs? What do you need? Does brand matter? Are any of these funny customized products a good option?

It is overwhelming to choose golf clubs because there are so many options on the market for you to select. A multitude of options exists including various lines or series from each manufacturer. This guide will help you to select the best golf clubs for your particular needs.

    What Do You Need?

While there are hundreds of clubs on the market, your golf bag needs only to have a few clubs in it. The Official Rules of Golf state that you cannot have more than 14 clubs in your bag during any round of golf. That includes your putter too. As you can see, there is no need to fill up the trunk of your car with a large amount of clubs when you can only take 14 on the course.

Still, this does mean that you have to make each club count. Select clubs that are right for your body and style of play. In addition, be sure that your swing is the primary tool in determining the right club.

A good golf club can and will help improve your game if you have been using one that is not right for your body or your needs. In addition, keep in mind the importance of selecting a golf club that is within your budget. You do not have to spend a lot of money to get a great club.

This guide will provide you with all the information you need to purchase the right golf clubs for you, not for any specific manufacturer.
