    About the Authors

Charles and John began their partnership after becoming United States Army Commissioned Warrant Officers. They have served in Iraq and Afghanistan earning numerous awards. With over four decades of Military experience and two decades of Department of Defense contracting OCONUS in a combat zone, it was time for them to look towards the future. The end result was the founding of DDIM, LLC.

DDIM, LLC partners with businesses, State, and Federal agencies to build long-term relationships with organizations that can benefit from its unique abilities.

After the success of DDIM, LLC, Charles and John decided they wanted a platform to share their experiences to help others fulfill their dreams. By working shoulder to shoulder, they crafted this book, to change lives, one person at a time.

    Introduction

This book is unlike any personal finance book you’ve ever read. It is a book for everyday people and written by everyday people. Just like other books, it focuses on how to become financially secure. Unlike other books, it doesn’t simply focus on those who want to become rich but also on those who want to pay their bills comfortably and enjoy life.

Unfortunately, millions of people struggle when it comes to managing their personal finances. Traditionally most families don’t discuss finances, schools provide limited educational resources when it comes to money management, and we ignore our financial situations until we are forced to deal with them. Because of these things and others, we have allowed families to be deprived of the quality of life they deserve.

This book will help you improve your financial fitness by explaining the tools needed to keep your money management healthy. This book will coach you on becoming financially free so that you won’t feel confined and burdened when dealing with economic affairs. It will guide you to have financial fun by teaching you to how to enjoy the capital you work hard to earn. Lastly, you will feel empowered as you become financially secure.

Don’t save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.

The habit of saving is itself an education; it fosters every virtue, teaches self-denial, cultivates the sense of order, trains to forethought, and so broadens the mind.
