Preface

The book Secret Tastes and Confidential Places is inspired by the website:

A DAY A TASTE[1]

It is dedicated to great products, tasty restaurants, good food and wonderful wines.

The approach is pretty simple, if I have written about a product, this means that I have tried it and that I have enjoyed the taste. This book is a selection of some of the different Tastes I decided to talk about, all of these Tastes are linked to Places. The concept of Terroir really matters, because behind each Taste, there is a geographic place, human beings, history and an economic background.

This book is for Gourmet Lovers and Travelers who like to see the world as an amazing restaurant or a terroir with endless possibilities!

Secret Tastes and Confidential Places will make you travel across the five Continents, you will smell the spicy flavors of the Ben Thanh Market of Ho Chi Minh City, you will feel the rough softness of the Gari from Benin under your fingers, you will experience the milky flavor of the Bleu de Gex from the French Haut-Jura mountains, you will lose yourself in the Parisian restaurants.
