How many times has Martha Argerich recorded Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 2? I am not sure I have the energy to trawl the catalogue to find the answer, but I’m guessing it must be about a gazillion. And now – in honour of ever-present 250th anniversary – here comes another version.
