No hair, no cares! I’M PERFECT AS I AM

Wrapping the final strand of hair around my tongs, I admired my tangle of glossy curls.

I’d been lazy about going to the hairdressers lately and instead, I’d let my brunette locks grow long.

I wasn’t precious about my hair but my friends always commented on it.

‘Your hair is so gorgeous. I wish mine would grow like yours,’ they’d say.

At 26, I was still learning to love my insecurities but I was happy.
