Baked Curly Fries
Next study date, bake-up a batch of these crispy curly fries.
Servings: 4-6
Total Time: 50mins
Ingredients:
Water
3 large potatoes (peeled/unpeeled depending on preference)
2 tsp paprika
1½ tsp salt
¼ tsp onion powder
⅛ tsp black pepper
3 tbsp flour
3 tbsp egg
1½ tbsp whole milk
Directions:
1. Preheat the main oven to 450 degrees F. Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
2. Bring a pan of water to boil.
3. Using a curly fry cutter, cut the potatoes into curly fries.
4. Put the curly fries into boiling water and boil for a few minutes.
5. Transfer the fries to a colander and rinse in cold running tap water.
6. Using kitchen paper towels dry the potatoes and put to one side.
7. In a bowl combine the paprika with the salt, onion powder, pepper, and flour.
8. Add the egg followed by the milk and mix thoroughly.
9. Add the fries to a large mixing bowl.
10. Pour the seasoning mix over the fries and gently mix to combine.
