R3.3bn AND 14 YEARS LATER...

As shrubs and grass increasingly encroach on the bare concrete bus lanes after 14 years and R3.3 billion spent, it is reasonable to ask whether the Rustenburg Rapid Transport (RRT) system will be up and running by early next year.

This is a valid concern for those who have been following the construction of the municipal bus service, because the project has missed its completion dates numerous times.
