Delicious Cajun Style Catfish
This is a great tasting cast iron cookbook that you are going to love if you are a huge fan of delicious Cajun recipes. It is easy to make and will satisfy your entire family
Makes: 4 Servings
Total Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 tsp. of Black Pepper, For Taste
1 tsp. of Garlic, Powdered Variety
1 tsp. of Onion, Powdered Variety
1 tsp. of Paprika, For Taste
1 tsp. of Parsley, Dried
1 tsp. of Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp. of Salt, For Taste
½ tsp. of Oregano, Dried
½ tsp. of Thyme, Dried
4 Catfish Fillets, Skinned
¾ Cup of Butter, Unsalted Variety
Directions:
1. Use a small sized bowl and mix together all of your ingredients except for your catfish fillets and butter. Stir thoroughly to combine.
2. Sprinkle this seasoning generously onto your catfish fillets, making sure to coat them thoroughly.
3. Next melt your butter in your microwave until thoroughly melted.
4. Then heat your cast iron skillet over high heat and pour at least ¼ cup of your melted butter into it. Set your remaining butter again.
5. Add your catfish fillets into your skillet and cook until the fish is opaque and begins to flake easily with a fork. This should take at least 3 minutes on each side.
6. After this time remove
