PANDEMIC TRIGGERED CRISIS

As the brutal onslaught of the Covid-19 coronavirus continues to rise in the country a “second curve” is trailing not too far behind – a mental health crisis triggered by the pandemic. The wrath of Covid-19 has been deadly, attacking the human body, especially of those with underlying conditions such as hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular disease and chronic lung illness.

But the second curve, the escalating mental health crisis as a result of the pandemic, is not to be taken lightly either.
