The Hammerhead Karoo was launched in 2018 as a new entrant to the cycling GPS market. It was a completely new take on a cycling head unit, with a next level display and a new user interface. The idea of the unit was conceived when one of the founders of the company, Piet Morgan (an old cycling buddy of Chris Froome) was cycling across the United States.
