A Welsh adventure
THE LOST SHEEP Company, based in Colwyn Bay in North Wales, specialises in selling hand-spun yarns and spinning equipment, and teaching heritage crafts. It is run by designer and spinner Chrissy Smith, who is on a mission to share the beauty of wool produced from Welsh native sheep breeds.
Although Chrissy’s shop has been closed during the Covid-19 lockdown, she is hoping to open up again soon, and she advises customers to give her a call for information on the latest shop updates.
When did you discover a love of knitting?
“When I was about six years old, I used to sit with my nan in the afternoon listening to the radio, and while we sat she taught me to knit. My little needles were yellow
