Preface
The book is written about a glorified donkey who became a human being through proper training by some exceptionally talented trainers whom we fondly call them as our teachers.
Through this small book I want to pay my tributes to some of my revered teachers. However, readers may sometimes feel that it is a self glorifying story of my own; but in my opinion to understand their greatness, my reference may be essential. In my efforts to submit my obeisance to my teachers, I may have missed many good points of my teachers for which I submit my unconditional apology. Further, I am to clarify that it is not a compilation of biographies of my teachers; rather it is a tribute to some of my teachers by painting some colours by using my own brush. In other words, I am describing my associations with them as per my own perspective only. As I was describing them through my own lenses, I have mentioned in the book whatever I am aware of them and had not done any research beyond my associations with them.
Since I had completed my M. Phil Degree in 1984, I had at least 150 regular teachers in my student life and beyond. Out of these 150 teachers only around 20 teachers had lot of influence in my career and my personal life and rest of the 130 odd teachers had very less or no influence in my life. On the other hand, another 10 teachers who were not my classroom teachers had influenced my career and my personal life enormously. Therefore in my tribute, I have mentioned about my take from those informal teachers of my life through our long associations.
I have designed my cover page keeping in mind that without the influence of my teachers, my life would have been a blank paper. Whatever is my career and life today, it was a product of the writing on my forehead by my teachers including my own mother, the first teacher of mine in all respect. My first management teacher was my father.
I am thankful to Google for the free photograph to be used on the cover page of the book. Thanks to my readers and friends and above all my family members for their constant support to write something usual and unusual. I love them all.
Thanks to Smashwords for publishing this story as an ebook along with my other eBooks.

Chapter I: About Myself
As already mentioned in the Preface, the book is based on the life of a donkey who went on to become a human being. Therefore, before I start saying about my teachers, I want to say something about the glorified donkey to know about the influence of his teachers on him and his career.
Unlike most of my classmates and colleagues during my long student life of almost 19 years and my long career of a senior officer of Government of India for more than three decades, I was not from an urban elite background. In fact, I hailed from a backward village of a backward state of India. Though I was born to a teachers’ family, I was scolded by my father, my first management Guru, on regular basis as ‘Gaadha’, (a donkey in Assamese). Just to understand my background, I want to share few facts before my esteemed readers; not for boasting but to understand the stark reality of my life and my surroundings.
My father’s residence was electrified in 1979 when I was doing my graduation in Cotton College. I used to walk for two KM daily bare foot to attend my primary and high school from a very tender age due to some family compulsions. My father’s home is yet to be provided with tap water connection (2020). I was the first Science
