Marriage With No Argument - P.Shift
We show you in 34 easy to follow steps
If you are reading this then you have probably passed the honeymoon stage in marriage, when everything seemed perfect and you felt you had a total rapport with your partner.
You are probably in the next stage when you are really getting to know your partner as you settle down to daily life together. In the honeymoon stage your partner can do very little wrong – your heart beats faster when you see the person you love, you wait anxiously for text messages or lie in bed texting or talking on the phone. You dress for dates, spend time getting to know each other; and then it’s the wedding and you’re a prince and princess for some time leading up to the wedding. After the honeymoon it can be a bit of a letdown when wham-bam you are getting down to married life, where someone has to take out the trash, bills have to be paid, and you actually are in bed every night with the person you fantasized about for so long, but it’s not quite like before. Some days your partner may be a bit distant, sometimes tired and sometimes short with you.
This is when it’s easy to get into arguments that go nowhere and leave you both lying back to back in bed, staring at the wall, and refusing to be the first to say, I’m sorry
.
This guide is to help you get past the problems that lead to anger and hurt, with practical advice that you can start applying immediately to improve your marriage without resorting to arguments. Work through our steps one by one – it’s not just a quick read through, but advice to be applied diligently for a year or more to get you to the stage you want to be in your marriage.

Empathy is defined as one person’s ability to share the feelings of another and understand them. Empathy is quite different from sympathy where we may feel sorry or pity for another person and show compassion, but we are not going as far as experiencing their emotions ourselves. Empathy is something that is partly inherited and partly learned, so you may need to develop the skills of empathy through various exercises. Here are a few ways to develop empathy:
It may sound crazy, but you can develop empathy through challenging yourself to learn a new language, taking a course to improve your qualifications, learning a musical instrument, or trying a new sport. Choose something you don’t find too easy and soon you will be able to appreciate how hard it can be to learn something new. This enables you to be more empathetic with other people when they make mistakes as you will be going through the same sort of thing yourself. The bonus is you will have acquired a new skill.
There is a saying that goes like this: Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. Go traveling with your partner and experience new places and activities. It will make you a much more empathetic person if you travel, especially when you visit poorer countries and see
