About this ebook

Are You Ready? #Harpazo
In the Christian community, predicting the exact timing, order, and scope of end-time events has been a source of controversy and dispute. There are varying views on what is called "the Second Coming" and "the Rapture." In addition, there is much discussion as to whether the Rapture and the Second Coming are two separate events or one event with two phases. This written work is designed to break down end-time preparation, positions, and promises so that believers are informed rather than fearful. Bishop K. J. Brown lays out a simple, easy-to-understand argument using practical biblical support to empower the reader to move forward in confidence rather than confusion concerning the return of Christ for His bride the Church. All Christians agree that Christ will return. The question I ask you is "Are you ready?" #Harpazo.

Are You Ready? - Bishop K.J. Brown

    Conclusion

    Preface

This book was written to make everyone understand the end time’s message and have clarity of the Rapture. Many of the books I have read through the years on this subject have been complicated and written from a deep theological perspective. I wanted to produce a book not to impress the reader, but to help the reader have an understanding and clarity, and realize the urgency of salvation and the need to be ready for Christ when He returns for the Church. So, this book was written as God directed me through the Holy Spirit to change and strengthen lives and get the Church ready. The motto of the church, Building Winning Lives for a Coming Lord. I know that Christ will keep His Promise to come back for the Church. As you will discover in later chapters, you will see His return is certain and it would be wise to be ready.

    Introduction

I have been in church all my life as far back as I can remember. My first Christian recollection was in the 1st grade. I was taught how to read by my mother before I even started school. I was fascinated by the WORD of God, so as a 1st grader I was reading scripture. I am still fascinated by the Word of God for almost 50 years and counting. I was a straight A student in school. I would read my bible in class after I finished my work. During my times in the 1st to 3rd grade, I would read a scripture or two and think about the scripture during the day.

By the time I was in the 4th grade, some days I read several passages. It was in the 4th grade that my elementary school teacher called my mother in for a conference because the teacher thought I was strange. My mother, who was a strong Bible teacher, asked my teacher if my Bible reading habit in class affected my academic performance. The teacher said No, it is not. He is an A student, but I cannot get him to stop reading the Bible in class.

My Bible reading habits continued through grade school. By the time I was in middle school, I was meeting with other students during Physical Education period in a circle talking about scripture. I had my school books but I always had a Bible with me also.

When I was 12 years old, I had a dream which made me join the church. The dream was in the early morning hours on a Friday night. In the dream, I was standing in a church at the pulpit. I could see people in front of me listening, but I couldn’t see the faces of the people I was preaching to clearly. Then I woke up from the dream and saw a figure at the corner of the bedroom, tall and with a very bright glow of light. The figure did not say anything. It just stood there. I was very afraid. I had never experienced anything like this before. I opened up my eyes more to get a clearer look of the glowing figure. But it was so bright that it was difficult to look into its face. Then all at once, the figure disappeared.

I jumped up out of bed to see if anyone else was awake. I got up and peeked in my dad and mom’s room and everyone was still asleep. Needless to say, I did not go back to sleep. I was so excited. I stayed up until early morning. I laid in the dark praying. I was waiting for my mother or someone to get up. I just couldn’t wait to tell someone. My mother was the first person to wake up. So of course I told my Mother about the dream and the figure of light. She smiled and said, You know you to have to tell the Pastor. I was too excited to sleep, I did not go back to sleep and it was daylight now, so I went to get my Bible. When I opened the Bible, it turned to the Book of Jeremiah. The page the Bible opened to was Jeremiah Chapter 1. I read Jeremiah chapter 1:1-10.

Jeremiah 1:1-10 King James Version (KJV)

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

I told my mother and all she did was smile. I was so excited that weekend. I couldn’t wait until Sunday to tell the Pastor what had happened. So Sunday came, after the sermon, I came up to the front of the church when they had what is
