Grilled Blackened Catfish

This is a delicious catfish recipe I know you will want to make whenever you are looking for something on the classy side. Made with a delicious cilantro and lime butter, this is one catfish dish that will be impossible to resist.

Makes: 2 Servings

Total Prep Time: 20 Minutes


2, 6- to 8-ounce catfish fillets

4 tsp. of blackening seasoning

2 Tbsp. of butter

2 Tbsp. of cilantro, minced

1 clove of garlic, minced

1 lime, fresh

Extra virgin olive oil, for grilling


Preheat an outdoor grill to medium or high heat.

Then prepare the cilantro and lime butter. To do this, add butter to a small bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave to cook for 15 seconds or until soft. In a medium bowl, add the garlic, juice from half of one lime, and one tablespoon of the minced cilantro. Mash well until smooth.
