It was an evening of musical enchantment at the Jazz Association Singapore (Jass) biennial benefit gala dinner, which took place at the Tower Ballroom of, from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, , the evening bore witness to a highly entertaining line-up that included performances by American jazz vocalist Kenny Washington and homegrown chanteuse Alemay Fernandez, who awed audiences with their smooth riffs and warm energy on stage.
