Kim Jordy has been serving afternoon tea for more than 20 years. That longtime experience has served her and her guests at Tea Leaves & Thyme very well. After five years in a former post office building in downtown Woodstock, Georgia—with seating for only 25 people—the tearoom’s success sparked the move to its current home, the historic Dawson Home.
Growing up, Kim’s British mother made sure she was very familiar with the tradition of enjoying tea. Tea Leaves & Thyme, which Kim opened with her lifelong friend Suzanna Spollen, combined Kim’s British heritage with culinary skills learned from her father, who was a classically trained chef and restaurateur.
