About this ebook

Small-town schoolboy Murray Leinster, fourteen going on ten, finds his life revolutionised when he falls in love with new transfer student, Eve Chandler. The resolute girl takes him by the hand and leads him into a world right on his own door-step that he never dreamed existed―A nine-year-old crime lord, an enchanted Garden of Cats, and a pair of very strange Japanese girls are just some of the wonders that await him. The town is struck by a series of sexual assaults, and these attacks are somehow connected with the Asteroid Belt Mining Project (which may or may not be a colossal hoax) and a mysterious green cloud with something very nasty lurking inside it. Super-spy Mark Hunter and Dodo Dupont, his TV psychologist associate, arrive on the scene to investigate. As cosmic events draw ever closer to one small town and one small boy, many questions need to be answered: What is the secret of the ruined abbey in the woods? Why does Eve Chandler have a wristwatch communicator? Why aren't Mark and Dodo the main characters in the story? And just what is so special about Murray Leinster, anyway? (And why do people keep interrupting him when he's trying to lose his virginity?)
