Slam-door HST sets in decline

THREE of ScotRail’s ‘classic’ HST sets have been removed from service in recent weeks.

October 31 saw the departure of Nos. 41136, 42047/207 and 44015, the four as the 5L46/10.07 Haymarket-Ely Papworth. Another move from Haymarket to Ely took place on November 28, when power car Nos. 43026/148 moved coaches from sets HA07 and HA10. In the consist were Nos. 41010/135,42013/279/280, 44004/035.
