    I felt God had left me alone. However, I was wrong all those times. I was wrong to think my life was in shambles because of the hardship I was facing. I was wrong to think God had forgotten me while he was preparing for me a hope and a future. I was even wrong to count myself as nobody when God sees me as the very apple of His eyes. It is so fascinating to know how God brings beauty out of ashes, gold out of the mire, glory out of the dunghill, purpose out of problems, and fame out of shame.

    Maybe you have been written off, and people had called you forsaken, just as people said if anything good could come out of Nazareth. Some people might have said to your face that you can't amount to anything in life again and that had done harm to your self-worth. However, today, I bring you good news from the Almighty God. God is about to take you out of shame into fame, and your glory will become a shining light for the world to see. You are coming out of obscurity into prosperity.

    My life is a testimony of God's favor is synonymous with the way God favored Esther before the King Ahasuerus (Esther 5:8). Who would have thought that a commoner like Esther could be crown a Queen? Nevertheless, she was because God favored her above her equals and counterpart.

    Just a day of favor from God is enough to wipe away many nights of tears. God's favor makes you appear like a 'superman' before others because, indeed, the favor of God comes with supernatural lifting. It will interest you to know that the favor of God can end the struggle of many years and grant you accelerated speed to run and outrun others. Barriers are broken. Obstacles are removed. Protocols are ignored when God chooses to favor any person. Just a night of favor can turn around many years of pain, hurts, and failure

      INTRODUCTION

      Aperson praying to God for so long, regarding a specific need might suddenly become frustrated because nothing seems forthcoming. Without hesitation, this individual begins to doubt if God indeed hears prayers, or listens to the prayers of some people while He ignores others. So, this person starts questioning God; if God truly hears prayers, why does it take him so long to answer my prayer that is if he will answer anyways? 

      Similarly, that person could be you. Possibly, you have been praying to God for a high paying job, a salary raise on your job, the blessing of the fruit of the womb, a breakthrough in your home, and success in your life endeavor. Despite your prayers, no answer seems forthcoming. In fact, the situation appears to grow from bad to worse, and you feel God is not there anymore. Then, the questions of doubt, unbelief, and fear begin to ensue in your mind; why is God silent about my prayers? Has God forgotten me? Why am I experiencing this delay, despite my consistency in prayers?

      Dear friend, this is my word of encouragement to you; do not give up on God yet. 

      Of course, life challenges can be so tough and rough such that, your life aspirations begin to look like a mirage. In fact, you have prayed countlessly for God's divine intervention, but the situation had remained the same. You kept on praying but nothing to show forth for your fervency in prayers. 

      Sincerely, you are not alone. The Bible gave us instances of many people who prayed to God for their desires but never received an answer immediately, despite their continuous prayers and obedience to God. Daniel, a man full of God's spirit and wisdom prayed, just as you have been praying too, but His prayers were delayed for 21 days (Daniel 10:12-14). 

      In addition, Lazarus, a friend of Jesus, had a delay for 4 days, when his sister called on Jesus for Lazarus's illness. Eventually, Lazarus died (John 11). Hannah prayed to God several times at Shiloh for a child (1 Samuel 1:1-19). In the Bible, some other people prayed and prayed, but they never got the answer to their prayer at the moment of their request. After all, these people would have been so worried just as you are concerned about your situation too. They might have asked: but God, why me? Why have you not answered me yet?

      The truth of the matter is delayed prayer is not denied prayer. God's response to your prayers is not based on your terms but on God's. Regardless of how much and how quick you want what you want, God will do what He will do for you on his terms. Therefore, what you call a delay is not actually, what it is.
