The series has been particularly successful in Germany, where publisher Fischer Verlag has sold over half a million Sprite books. The books are currently being developed for a series of films.The Sprite Sisters – four sisters, four elements, four powers – describe the magical adventures of Flame, Marina, Ash and Ariel, who have the powers of Fire, Water, Earth and Air.
