    THE BEGINNING

    MY LIFE WITH WOMEN AND VALUABLE LESSONS I LEARNED FROM IT

    n my first day in junior high school, I was the second student to arrive the school for the fresh Jr. High students. The first guy who came was given the class captain. His name was Sylvester. It was a white on blue uniform.

    He, Sylvester, was intelligent. Before I left the house for school, my mom and dad prayed for me to excel and be ahead in my class and anything I lay my hands on in life.

    Something mysterious happened. The moment I stepped into the class as the second student, it was as if a smart spirit left my body and an intelligent spirit took over. I felt a shift in my body. It was like a dream, but I didn’t pay much attention to it.

    After some weeks in school, a new teacher came to class and decided to choose another class captain. Everyone said I must be the new captain, but I refused.  They forced me to take the position, but I wasn’t interested.

    I was really nervous about holding a position. All I wanted was to be on my own. They gave it to me anyway, but I told Sylvester to continue. My classmates were calling me ‘the captain,’ telling me to go get some chalk from the principal’s office for the teacher in class.

    Sylvester would go the moment he senses my hesitation and resistance—he rushes to get the chalk. (The school would probably be using a board and a marker pen by now, but in our days, we used chalk.)

    The once a smart and crazy boy, in elementary school, is now an intelligent but nervous boy in junior high. I have now become nervous after gaining book intelligence.

    I never wanted to make mistakes anymore, unlike in my elementary school days when I never cared about making mistakes or carrying 29th position out of 30 students in class.

    (Later in life, I noticed intelligent people hate mistakes, but smart people don’t care. In fact, they enjoy it and learn from it.)

    My school has two uniforms. The blue and white and a sweater for cold weathers.

    So, in class, there was this good-looking girl called Melinda. She developed interest in me and started coming to my desk to sit. She was a bit taller than me at the time and I was so intimidated by her beauty and height.

    I get nervous whenever she comes close to me. I tried my best to avoid her, but she kept coming to my desk. The more I distanced myself from her, the more she falls in love with me.

    When I was dumb, but technologically smart and crazy as a kid, I wasn’t scared of women. I used to beat them and other guys in elementary school because I was a troublesome child, but now my smartness has disappeared and intelligence had taken over. I have become nervous because I
