There are 2 ways to calculate your health number and then you can read at both numbers and see which numbers best describes your condition and that is the method of calculation for you.

The first method of calculation is to add together all the numbers from your birth date like the example below.

Let’s use the birth date May 25, 1970. (May is the 5th month).

Continue adding any double-digit numbers together until you get a single-digit between 1 to 9.

So your number is 2, in this case.

The second method is to take only the birth day and in this case is 25.

So the number is 7.

Now our imaginary person born on May 5th 1970 will read at both 2 and 7 and see which one fits her/him best. If both diets fit her/him, then she/he has to blend them together.

You may use both methods of calculation and get the same number and this is a confirmation that you found the right health number for you.

If you were born between 1 and 9 of any month, that one-digit number is your health number.

In this book I will tell you the health issues you may experience based on your health number, what vitamins you need to support your body, but I won’t only tell you a list of vitamins, I will also explain you their role in your body, deficiency symptoms and toxicity. Is very hard to get an overdose of a vitamin from food, usually overdosing come from supplements (pills or powders), I will also tell you the recommended daily dose of each vitamin. So I advise you to adopt a healthy and balanced diet by getting the nutrients you need from food.

Let’s start explaining each health number.

Health number 1

This health number show heart, blood, right eye, spine and gallbladder problems.

You love sun and is best to spend time outside. This number represents a strong person, but you tend to take too much responsibility and neglect your health. You may have problems with your circulation like cold hands and feet and you may experience some blood disorders. Blood pressure issues (low blood pressure or high blood pressure) are likely to happen in your life so is better to keep your heart checked.

You may also experience some eye issues, mostly with the right eye.

The good part is that you don’t get sick easy, but when you do get sick, it hit you hard.

You shouldn’t neglect sickness symptoms because this will help you treat it easier and don’t become a long lasting problem.

If you want to relax, do it on Sunday. Pay attention to your health in January, October and December. These are the years of your life where you are more prone to health problems: 1st, 10th, 19th, 28th, 37th, 46th, 55th, 64th, 73th, 82nd, and 91st.

You need food that contain magnesium (magnesium phosphate), vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin E.

Magnesium helps turn the food you eat into energy and help the parathyroid glands work normally; these glands produce hormones necessary for bone health.

Magnesium is also required for the proper function of nerves, muscles, and many other parts of the body. In the stomach, magnesium helps neutralize stomach acid and moves stools through the intestine.

Magnesium is usually safe for most people. However, in some people, magnesium might cause stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other side effects.

Doses less than 350 mg daily are safe for most adults. When taken in very large amounts, magnesium is possibly unsafe. Large doses might cause too much magnesium to build up in the body, causing serious side effects including an irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, confusion, slowed breathing, coma, and death.

Magnesium seems to slow blood clotting. In theory, taking magnesium might increase the risk of bleeding or bruising in people with bleeding disorders.

Food sources of magnesium

Magnesium is found in a wide variety of foods like green leafy vegetables (spinach), nuts, brown rice, bread (especially wholegrain), fish, meat, dairy products.

The amount of magnesium needed is 300 mg/day for men (19-64 years) and 270 mg/day for women (19-64 years). Taking high doses of magnesium which means more than 400 mg for a short time can cause diarrhea.

Vitamin A is important for eyesight, it also strengthens the immune system and keeps skin and linings of parts of the body healthy, participate in protein synthesis and cell differentiation and this is why it keeps the skin and tissues healthy.

In your body you have 5 types of vitamin A:

Retinoic acid

Retinyl esters

Each type of vitamin A performs functions that others can’t. Retinol supports reproduction and is one of the most important form for transport and storage of vitamin A. Retinal is important for vision (eyes) and is also an intermediate in the conversion of retinol to retinoic acid. Retinoic acid acts like a hormone for regulating cell differentiation, growth and embryonic development.

To show you how important is to have all 5 forms of Vitamin A, animals raised with retinoic acid only as their sole source of vitamin A can grow normally, but they become blind because they don’t have retinal, the other form of vitamin A.

Vitamin A can be obtained from foods as preformed retinol from animal sources (meat) or as provitamin A carotenoids (beta-carotene) from plant sources.

The first symptom of vitamin A deficiency is impaired dark adaptation or night blindness which is caused by insufficient availability of retinol to the retina which is at the back of your eye. Skin lesions are another early symptom of vitamin A deficiency. In children growth retardation is a common symptom of vitamin A deficiency.

Severe vitamin A deficiency is caused by a condition called xerophthalmia which is the Greek word for dry eye. This condition is characterized by changes in the cells of the cornea which is the transparent layer of the eye and this condition may lead to corneal ulcers, scarring and blindness.

Liver and gastrointestinal diseases may cause vitamin A deficiency because they interfere in the absorption and utilization of vitamin A.

Vitamin A deficiency during pregnancy may lead to malformations during fetal development.

Vitamin A is acutely and chronically toxic. Acute toxicity is a large dose of more than 300 mg in a single dose of vitamin A which cause nausea, vomiting and headaches and these symptoms disappear within a few days of stopping vitamin A intake. After a very large dose, drowsiness and malaise occur together with itching and exfoliation of the skin.

A chronic toxicity of vitamin A is prolonged and regular intake of more than 7.5-9 mg/day. Aside from the symptoms described at acute toxicity, chronic toxicity also contain symptoms like enlargement of the liver associated with loss of liver function and decalcification of bones with consequent bone fragility.

Extremely high doses can prove fatal.

If you like to eat animal liver on a weekly basis or more often, be caution because they store a lot of vitamin A and large amounts eaten over a period of time can eventually cause adverse effects.

Carotenoids don’t cause toxicity because of their limited absorption and low rate of
