      When You're Waking

      You're Sure it's Time to Get Up Already?

      Satisfy us in the morning

         with Your faithful love

            so that we may shout with joy

               and be glad all our days.

      Psalm 90:14

      What's the first thing you think about in the morning?

      Verses like these can help you remember to make Thank You, God the first words to come out of your mouth every day.

      The LORD's faithful love does not cease; His compassions have no end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

      Lamentations 3:22-23

      It is good to praise the LORD, to sing praise to Your name, Most High, to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night

      Psalm 92:1-2

      The minute you wake up, God is there. He's always there.

      And because of that, your day can start looking up before you even get to the breakfast table.

      When they became fully awake, they saw His glory.

      Luke 9:32

      When I awake, I will be satisfied with Your presence.

      When I wake up, I am still with You

      Psalm 139:18

      But some days start out a little darker and cloudier than others.

      That's when you need to go ahead and ask God right off the bat to help you with whatever it is that's worrying you.

      At daybreak, LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.

      Psalm 5:3
