INTRODUCTION
Losing weight has always been a difficult task, more for those who suffer from obesity, many texts have been written on the subject; there is a lot of research on diets and methods to reduce body weight including physical exercise.
What we try to communicate here is the product of more than 30 years of work in successful clinical research to maintain an ideal weight, reduce it even when overweight or obese, without resorting to extreme treatments.
In this book we expose gradually the most intense weight loss that is obesity to the complete and natural method of achieving an ideal weight according to the standards established in the medical literature.
We develop concepts of obesity in the beginning, we describe the symptoms according to the BMI body mass index, we add the causes from the genetic factors, food, lifestyle, etc. We aim to make the reader understand why the person is overweight.
In the following chapters we report the medical, nutritional and lifestyle change procedures, we suggest low-calorie diets added to an adequate dose of protein, physical exercise as a complement and existing medical treatments, and adequate emotional support.
