Jesus, Human Suffering and the Greater Perfection
()
About this ebook
Fourth book of the collection The Most Extraordinary Man of All History:
In this publication, two arduous and complex themes are analyzed, which were masterfully considered by the Lord: a) the human suffering, and b) the perfection.
On the one hand, suffering is an undeniable condition of the human life and on the other hand, perfection is an innate aspiration of the human being, which is related to Grace.
Jesus taught us that as imperfect, unjust and sinful human beings, we can ́t be as perfect as God (not even reach or understand Him), rather, we must trust in Christ and obtain the Grace, in order to complement what we can ́t achieve, and in this way, lead an exemplary and satisfactory life of service to others and to the Lord, whose final destiny is to serve God for all eternity.
Even Christianity's focus on human suffering and perfection (as expounded in the Sermon on the Mount) is sensational and far surpasses any of the imperfect solutions proposed by human beings (which include New Age ideas and conceptions of modern superheroes).

Jesus, Human Suffering and the Greater Perfection - Rolando José Olivo
I. INTRODUCTION
In this publication, two arduous and complex themes are analyzed, which were masterfully considered by the Lord: a) the human suffering, and b) the perfection. Both are closely related. So much so that without suffering it is very difficult for the human being to learn from his mistakes and be a better person. As some philosophers argue: the failure is a great teacher
.
In that sense, human suffering is an undeniable part of the human life. There is no human being who has never suffered or a triumphant who has surrendered to adversities. Even Jesus suffered too much in his short life and demonstrated that we must face suffering, assuming responsibilities in order to fulfill an existential purpose, according to the will of the Father. He also addressed the oppressed and the excluded so that they must not surrender to evil and injustice.
In the same way, in his famous discourse of the Sermon on the Mount, He also referred to perfection, explaining what is the Perfection of the Father, and hinting that despite suffering, we must move towards the greatest possible perfection, in the ethical and religious path that leads to approach the Creator.
Obviously, as imperfect, unjust and sinful human beings, we can´t be as perfect as God (not even reach or understand Him), rather, we must trust in Christ and obtain the Grace, in order to complement what we can´t achieve, and in this way, lead an exemplary and satisfactory life of service to others and to the Lord, whose final destiny is to serve God for all eternity.
Although the Son of Man referred to these issues (suffering and perfection), they are extremely complicated and difficult to analyze and understand. Likewise, the human beings have created other non-religious ways to conceive them, expecting to put an end to so much evil and injustice in this world, and reach exceptional levels of well-being, happiness and prosperity.
However, in the pursuit of these objectives, people have departed from the true religious essence of Christianity, seeking human and secular solutions, which include: a) the ideas of the New Age (which is anti-religious and pseudoscientific), and b) the conceptions of modern superheroes (repeating myths of Greek gods and demigods).
In this regard, in the Chapter II. The Religious Jesus vs. The Esoteric Jesus, it is exposed how two opposing visions of the Master (the Christian and the New Age) address the problems of human suffering and perfection.
While in the Chapter III. Jesus and the Modern Superheroes, it is explained how these fictional characters constitute an escape route in the face of a war against evil (lost by humanity), or another option against so many injustices, different from the way posed by the Master.
Next, in the Chapter IV. The Human Suffering, it is evaluated the complex issue of human suffering (which has not been satisfactorily explained by religious and philosophers), from two perspectives: a) the Christian, and b) the New Age.
In the Chapter V. The Spiritual Perfection, it is explained in detail the main discourse of Jesus (the Sermon on the Mount), which is aimed at demonstrating the Perfection of God and to encourage human beings to be true Christians and approach to the Lord (considering perfection and grace).
Moreover, Christianity's focus on human suffering and perfection is sensational, which far surpasses any of the imperfect solutions proposed by human
