Imagine a world where everyone had a healthy and beautiful body.
Imagine a life where there was no more wondering about what to eat.
Imagine stepping into virtually any restaurant in the world, while on a diet, and walking out with complete confidence that you have remained faithful to dietary commitments.
Imagine a diet book that doesn't insult your intelligence along the way or assume that you are a fitness junky.
You don't need to imagine these fantasies any longer, because now they are a part of reality!
The latest book by Yanjuan Lou, An Introduction to Four Dietary Lifestyles; A Guide to the Paleo, Keto, Vegan, and Okinawa Diets, is the type of book that the dieting industry has long feared exploding onto the scene.
The majority of us lack the time, money, or knowledge to figure out which diet would work best for our body types. In today's busy world, the last thing anyone wants to do is give up their precious free time to sign up for a months-long course just to learn a thing or two about nutrition. Thankfully, Yanjuan Lou has skipped through the confusion for us.
Everyone who has any interest in dieting has already heard about the paleo, keto, vegan, and Okinawa diets – but very rarely are these diets explained in full without bias towards one over the other. It's no secret that every diet under the sun won't work for everyone, and Yanjuan Lou has put together a comprehensive guide to each diet without pulling any punches or playing favorites. She leaves the final choice up to you for which diet you want to commit to, and whichever diet you chose, Yanjuan's advice remains as practical and poignant as ever.
If you've struggled to stick with a diet in the past or didn't know which diet would work best for you specifically, then stop fantasizing about finding the right book to help you, because it is in your hands right now!
What you will learn inside this book:
★The ins and outs of four of the most popular, yet misunderstood, diets being talked about today!
★Why most people do not succeed when going on a diet, and how to make sure that doesn't happen to you!
★An explanation of the metabolic state called ketosis, broken down and described in a way that anyone can understand!
★Meal plans for the paleo, keto, vegan, and Okinawa diets!
★How to eat out at a restaurant and still maintain your diet!

Introduction
Some diet plans come and go with the passing of the wind, changing every season and following a predictable cycle that replaces each failed diet with something promised to be better than everything that came before it. Every year there are new dietary trends, fads, and several products coupled along with testimonials that are suspect at best. The same story repeats itself every five or six months; there is the discovery of a brand-new diet, and unlike all the rest, the new sensation is guaranteed to boost your health, build muscle, and eviscerate all the unwanted pounds. If that were true though, then why do we need to keep discovering new diets? With so many scientific breakthroughs being cranked out at such a steady pace one would assume that we have already found the perfect diet and can finally all have the bodies that we desire. Alas, that’s not the case.
The perfect diet does not exist. Different body types and medical conditions are going to play a significant factor in how successful a diet is going to work out. Instead of telling people which diet they should live by, I think it is more useful to present several different options and let each person decide for themselves which diet will work best for them.
The very first thing anyone should do if they want a healthier body is to pick a goal and then find the diet that will help them reach the target they have set. It’s best to only commit to a diet that will help to achieve your health goals, instead of latching onto something just because it is new and has a talented marketing team promoting it. Before choosing the correct diet though, you have to educate yourself on the different options out there and carefully select a diet that matches your tastes and personality. Doing this is harder than it should be because most diet plans never tell the whole story, only the parts they want you to hear. If you are wondering if I am going to try and sell you a miracle pill or attempt to lead you into signing up for my guaranteed once in a lifetime weight loss program, rest assured that there is none of those in this book.
Instead of dedicating an entire book to one particular diet – whichever one is the most popular at the moment – I have selected to focus on four diets that have all stood the test of time, and are suddenly starting to become more popular according to modern trends and analytics. That is another tactic used by the dieting industry; taking old ideas and trying to convince you that they are brand new. I’m sorry to burst the rose-tinted dieting bubble, but just about every diet under the sun has already been discovered and thoroughly researched. This book is intended to be a mini-compendium of sorts. It is something that you can use to learn more about some of the oldest diets in history without being bogged down by polarized opinions or a sales ad tacked on at the end.
The four diets contained in this book are the paleo, keto, vegan, and Okinawa diets. Despite popular belief, the paleo and keto diets have been around an extensively long time and are now starting to fall into the category of being trends – which I believe is an inaccurate description. There is absolutely nothing new about going vegan, but it is still one of the harder diets to commit to if you have led a life of primarily eating food that
