INTRODUCTION
If you are not open to exploring alternative healing modalities to deal with your limerence, please do not buy this book. Also, read the important disclaimer at the beginning.
I also have an unsuitable and unavailable love interest. I wrote this book because I could not find any self-help book(s) with practical, hands-on techniques to help me deal with my limerence at times when I needed them the most. I could only find books to better understand this strange condition or books with some psychological advice. I, on the other hand, needed real-world techniques I could use right away to stop my emotions from going up and down. I discovered five healing modalities with practical techniques that helped me along my journey and would like to share them with you.
Limerence is a tough and misunderstood mental condition. When a person suffering from limerence feels rejected or craves the presence of a love object, they are frequently unable to share their misery and loneliness with others. My most urgent need at the time was to control my feelings in the privacy of my own home. With this book, I want to help you manage your emotions when you feel desperate, overwhelmed, lonely, and in total despair.
The information will not change your limerent situation, but how you react to it will. I must warn you again that what I want to share with you is unconventional. So, if you are cynical or critical about alternative ways to manage your limerence other than what we know medically, this book is not for you. It is also important to use these techniques daily, as the change within you often comes without your noticing it. There will still be bad days, but the more you use these techniques, the tougher you will become mentally.
From experience, I can tell you that you did not ask to become addicted to a person. There was no way you could prevent these deep feelings. I do not want you to ever blame yourself or believe what others might tell you. Your feelings crept up on you. Perhaps you spent a lot of time together, or you admired your love interest from a distance. One day your feelings turned into a total addiction, and even after all this time, they are still there. You crave your love interest’s presence. You can't stop thinking about the person you like, and it's stopping you from doing anything. You
