    INTRODUCTION

Hello, they call me ET the Alien but since we are friends you can call me ET.

I have a story to tell you, one that will amaze you, and one that you probably won’t believe. But that is your problem, human, not mine.

It began a few weeks ago, in a little country town somewhere in Australia.

It doesn’t matter where, not really.

It could have been you or your friends. It could have been anyone.

The real question is, what would you have done?

Would you have paid for this?

Would you have gone into the machine?

    A MATTER OF TIME

It was a glorious spring morning. There was enough warmth in the air as the sun struggled up into the heavens to avoid wearing a jumper, or a second layer of any sort really.

But Jenny liked to take it all in. It was a rare family outing and even though it usually ended in some kind of drama or argument, she preferred it to sitting at home being dull and non-communicative.

Yes, ok Mike. We are coming, there is no rush, you know.

Yeh, yeh. I just don’t want to miss out on the best stuff from the Vege Man.

Darling, you say the same thing every week and we haven’t missed out yet.

Mike dismissed her reply. He was not in the best of moods and he felt that he had already missed out that morning. She had jumped out of bed early. He had been horny. He
