    Every child is precious . But did you know that before we are even conceived we are also known by God? This book shows how God personally forms us in His image, and calls us before we are born. Using the Word of God as the only reference I Formed Them For My Glory catalogues God’s thoughts towards the unborn, encourages new mothers to love and pray for their children, and makes an indissoluble case for the the sanctity of life in the womb.

    As creation declares the glory of God, so have modern advancements in genetics, embryology, fetology, perinatology, sonography, and neonatology affirmed the Bible’s perspective. More than tissue, at conception a single cell has everything within it to become a fully formed human being. Its DNA is unique to that person—and according to God, is worthy of protection. Children in the womb quickly develop the ability to feel pain, respond to sound and movement. To God there is no distinct line of demarcation between human and the cells that begin our lives. From the very beginning that cell is Mallory. That cell is David. That cell is Ellen. That cell is you. That cell is me. The Bible recognizes it in many astounding ways, as you’ll soon read. So too, does our government.

    HEARING OF GOD’S LOVE, His calling, and His miraculous work as Creator is truly awe-inspiring. The sheer number of verses that pertain to life before conception are really overwhelming! My hope is that Christians, pastors, lay leaders, and willing witnesses will be able to find the words they need to share the message in our hearts.

    A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters. Proverbs 25:11-13

    But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. Romans 10:8

    Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.     The Hebrew words used in passages about unborn children refer to individuals. Geber, means man. Ben, means child/son and Olel for example—always mean human individuals. In the Greek we see Brephos, or baby and Huios meaning son. Meter is the word for mother—and is used to describe any woman who has conceived even if the child is not born or has died!Each word used in the Bible referencing children in the womb signify the individual life of the baby.
