Jesse D. W. Reynolds
Jesse D.W. Reynolds was born in Anderson, Indiana on December 13, 1988 to his mother, Elaine Williams-Peel, and father, Jesse W. Reynolds Jr. Reynolds is the oldest of five siblings. Often called Jack, L J, Little Jesse, or JR by his family members, he loved being distinguished. To add to that point, Reynolds began writing poetry in the second grade. He often makes mention of a crush who inspired many of his poems. Yes, only at the tender age of 7, Reynolds was already writing poetry about love. This particular story is what helped Reynolds evolve his writing from love stories to life stories. He gained much of his knowledge from the elders of his family and community. Reynolds loved cutting grass, helping at his grandfathers garage, and listening to his grandmothers famous southern words. These, among many other experiences helped shape Jesse D.W. Reynolds. Reynolds used sports (baseball, basketball, and track), music, and other activities to enjoy life. He used his parents, grandparents, and community leaders lessons and advice to learn as much about life as possible. Beyond this, Reynolds uses his relationship with God to speak and empower other people. Jesse is a Hebrew name which means Gods gift. He wants to be a gift to other people; through love, service, and inspiration. In fact, one of his favorite Bible verses is: 1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Content.jpgDedication
To my beautiful, strong, and loving mother Elaine Williams-Peel, I dedicate this book to you. Thank you for your guidance over the years. From the beginning, you ensured that I had everything I needed and many of the things I wanted. I cannot truly express, in words, how you have impacted my life. Where would I be with you, mommy? I remember when I would get sick and you would cuddle me until I fell asleep. I also remember when I would get in trouble, but you always said I would thank you later. Well, thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for working hard to give me the best life possible. There are not enough thank yous
to tell you how much I love you. But, thank you for raising me with honor, dignity, and respect. Not only have you given me something to carry forward for my children, but your gifts to me have become gifts to many around the world. You gave me strength, knowledge and a baby sister. I often think about how we all used to sit around after school and laugh all day. As tears draw to my eyes, I realized how blessed I am to have a mother like you. You are my support system, my best friend, and the woman God seen fit to give me life. It is one of the best feelings in the world to know that your mother loves you. Thank you mom!

Acknowledgement
Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Because of who God is, we are able to live and enjoy life abundantly. God is over us, not just in the heavens above, but his strength, love, thoughts, power, and consistency. These are the reasons why he is omnipotent and omniscient. God lives through and in us by the Spirit. I am thankful that God has blessed me with the abilities that I possess. I am thankful that God continues to show grace and mercy upon my life. I am thankful for God’s amazing love which supplies my Heavenly Navigation.
To my mother, Elaine Williams-Peel, thank you for your direction and correction over the years. I appreciate that you have shown me who God is but you have also allowed me to develop a relationship with him on my own.
To my step-father, David Peel, thank you for always being there for me. As far as I can remember you have been an influential person in my life and I don’t know where I would be without you.
To my father, Jesse W. Reynolds Jr., thank you for helping me realize that I am my father’s son. We share many similarities, but our differences have helped us grow over the years. Year after year, we grow closer and closer. I appreciate your commitment to continued growth.
To my Brothers and Sisters: Derrick, Sashae, Jessyca, Najee, and J’essence I love you all. I am proud to be your big brother and I am proud that you are continuing to work hard to achieve your goals.
Williams and Reynolds: Thank you for your love and support, I truly appreciate it. Having a family is a blessing, and I am truly blessed.
Goins Family—I am very appreciative to have you in my life. Mr. and Mrs. Goins and my brother from another (mother) Nicholas. I love you and thank you for all of your support.
Special Acknowledgment to:
Marcus Belin—Hard work is contagious. Keep living and serving in your purpose & you will inspire many.
Tera C. Hodges—Thank you for the inspiration.
Grandma Reynolds—Your commitment to Christ and your strength has given me strength. Thank you for your commitment to our family.
Uncle Jay—Thanks for all of your advice, support, and words of encouragement. I wish everyone could have an uncle like you.

Bradley University, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Kevin Stein.
I gave people the opportunity to give me chapter titles and I would write the chapter based on that particular title. Out of the responses, I selected three and I want to thank Brittany Boyd, Christine Carter, and Ronald Cason for their inspiration for these particular chapter titles. I hope you are able to connect to the book, especially to the chapter title that you provided me with.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported me by purchasing this book or given support through any of my other projects. I appreciate your interest in my work. If nothing else, remember that the people in your life can help you knock down a roadblock, or cause the roadblock to knock you down. Make sure you’re around the right people! I hope this book speaks to you and gives you the tools necessary to commit your life to Christ and to live for him. It is through God that our destinies are fulfilled and our lives are renewed.
Chapter 1
Following the Plan
How do you plan for something you did not expect to happen? Why plan for something when it seems as if the outcome would never go along with the plan? The issue shown in these questions is a lack of Faith. Faith is fundamental to guidance. That is a very important concept. To illustrate, consider the Global Positioning System (GPS), which allows data to be input into a device and valuable information is received by the user. If, as the user, you did not believe that the GPS would get you to your destination, chances are you would not use it. The
