      3. Introduction

      Be Encouraged contains different inspirational messages that are beneficial for Christian growth. However, the aim of the book is to motivate the believers of the gospel of Christ, and those who want to get on board. The Word of God talks of edifying and provoking one another unto love and good works, Hebrews 10 vs. 24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: In Christ there is no limitation and we are all partakers of the gospel and it is never too late to be part of it.

      Indeed Christ died that we may have victory and through Him we are bold and courageous. It also stirs up all the gifts which God has blessed us with. 2 Timothy 1: 6-7, Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. (7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of a sound mind. The book involves different examples of people who walked with God and trusted Him as their Faithful and ever present Helper throughout their lives. It captures different ways of how we can experience the same favour of God in all our difficulty regardless of who we are and what we are going through in life.

      When everything that surrounds you is falling apart, your life becomes miserable, but a word of encouragement comes as a light of joy. It is amazing just to know that in us is that burning light which is the Word of God in us. It gives us freedom and the ability to excel in all that we do. Though problems may arise creating a terrible picture of ourselves, but when the Word of God lives in us we can overcome all the obstacles knowing that it comes with power unlocking us from the chains of failure in our lives.

      Life becomes interesting when we forget all our troubles and believe that God is, and that He is the Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11: 6). Our hardships may create boundaries for us, obscuring our vision, but we can lift our eyes up to the sky and tell ourselves that the sky is the limit. Every step becomes your step forward when you learn to look ahead without going backwards.

      This book will help us understand our place in the Kingdom of God, because we have been called for a purpose and nothing will move us away from it. (Genesis 1: 26), And God said, Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The Word of God is telling us that we have been created to prosper, to overcome all the obstacles on our journey because in Him we are victorious. Well, you can stand up and tell yourself that you are blessed and you will continue to mount up with wings as the eagles because favour is your portion.

      Our God is able and in Him we trust and let all continue to praise Him in and out of season. Indeed He is the Mighty Warrior in all our battles. Let all Glory and Honour be given unto our Everlasting God, Hallelujah!

      4. A good day brings joy to a broken heart

      Psalm 29: 5, For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. You see bitter tears dropping like rain; you wonder why others are always joyful when you don’t have peace in your life. You try to run away, but all you hear is a calm voice full of compassion. You fall on your knees and cry out with a loud voice, you can feel a perfect touch and the anointing upon you. You see your tears turning to joy because you felt the presence of God in your spirit pouring out like healing rain.

      You behold the beauty and the grace of God in your life as you hear a graceful and melodious song of praise. It is a song of restoration playing in your spirit, healing your broken bones. You gracefully see yourself dancing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. As you move dramatically in worship worry disappears because you are connected to the Spirit of God who dwells in you. Ephesians 5: 18: And be drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; (19) Speaking yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and The Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

      A time of free worship, a time to devote and truly connect to the Spirit of God; it is a time of fellowship and strengthen your relationship with Him. I now understand that the more you give your heart freely to God and acknowledge that He is the King over your life He takes His position. It is time to connect and simply pour out your heart and adore His name. As you gradually take a step forward in worship simply forget about yourself and everything surrounding you and swim in His presence.

      Let your heart rejoice in the Lord

      Psalm 30:11: Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, girded me with gladness: (12) to the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not to be silent. O Lord my God will give thanks unto thee forever.

      Oh! What a day, Filled with blessings,

      For my heart rejoiceth seeing all your wondrous works. Indeed this is the day that the Lord has made and let my heart dance to this amazing song composed by your sweet birds of the air,

      The song of my season that heals my broken heart, Let my heart be merry for I have found peace and joy. You guide me and I find rest as I lie down in green pastures. From the rising of the sun and the returning of the stars and the moon, I am touched by the sweet light that brings joy to my broken bones. I have peace of mind, in you. What a glorious day? My enemies try to destroy my peace, but you hold me and surround me with your fire.

      I fall down and you lift me and clothe me in your amazing grace and that is why I run back to you.

      What a lovely day filled with joy, just smiles and beautiful faces around me ready to encourage me. What a blessing, you order my steps through your everlasting Word. Never let me go because I am complete in you and I am yours. Oh! What a day, filled with success for victory is mine, all the battles are Yours.

      God’s creations help me sing aloud a new joyful song that breaks the yokes of the enemy, and I am ready to dance. I can hear the drums, (lightning), different voices of a choir (wind); I can hear a joyful noise (thunder), very loud and exciting. I’m moved and touched by the sweet song, like still waters so peaceful and comforting. This is a brand new day let my heart be merry, Wow! Let me take off the garment of heaviness.

      I feel new and free to grab my blessings of the day. Birds of the air are ready to sing aloud Hosanna to The King of Kings.

      Oh! Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever, Hallelujah! Amen

      5. Everyone matters to the Creator

      Everyone has got something to do and nothing should limit us from going an extra mile. Never sit back, it is better to start than do nothing at all. If you know that you have been created for a special reason then all you should do is accomplish the task ahead of you before it expires. Remember our God is the God of time, it is better to walk in His plan for your life than wonder about with no clue of what you are suppose to achieve in life. Stand up and be bold you have been created for wonders. What you see outside is passing by, but what you are carrying inside is valuable because in God’s eyes you are unique. Let the inside speak up and position you to your rightful place.
