About this ebook

Do other superior beings really exist outside of Earth? Of course they do and in this book they are very active all over all over the Universe but not always in a serious way.

The Sramsians, Sunevians and Otulpians are from three identical planets in the same orbit around the same sun in a very old galaxy on the far side of the Universe that has no sides. They come from a Galaxy so old that its name has been forgotten and so is just called The Oldest Galaxy.

The Creator has made them Caretakers, Custodians and the Commissioners of the Universe as the Creator is very busy creating.

This second book in the series centres around an attack from another Universe led by an Alien who had slipped into our Universe aeons before and had created havoc. He had been deported, supposedly back to his own Universe but had been dumped into a different one by mistake. He has been plotting his revenge ever since.

Our Aliens have developed a Space Fighter to end all wars but found that only Humans can utilise it to the full.

This is a story of how one man saved the Universe and returned to tell the tale.

    Chapter One

I had just dropped my young wife off at her workshop and was turning the car round to head back home when it happened.

A tremendous tropical storm erupted directly overhead.

Thunder, lightning, torrents of rain, the lot.

I was just cursing my luck, as storms like this caused flash floods and extensive traffic jams, when I saw a brilliant flash, heard a tremendous bang, felt an awful shock, and then nothing!

I saw a brilliant flash and heard a tremendous bang!

    I had died!

Nothing - no heaven, no hell, no angels with wings or harps, no devils with tails or tridents. Just nothing.

There was nothing for a long while. But how could I know that if I was dead?

Wait a minute - that was something!

Was I actually experiencing light, noise, vague shapes and pain? Perhaps I was in heaven or hell after all.

    Then nothing again.

Sometimes light and pain and then blackout.

What was going on? Something was happening. Was I in transit from the human world to the spirit world? Was my soul being collected and tortured by sadistic powers in the universe?

    No.

I finally woke up in a hospital room. It didn’t look like any heaven or hell to me, very ordinary in fact. I pinched myself and thought that at least I didn’t appear to be dead after all.

But I did seem different and I did feel different.

    I sat up. No problem.

    I stood up. No problem.

I walked over to a mirror. No problem. I looked in the mirror. Who the hell was that looking back at me? It didn’t look like me but by moving around and pulling faces I realized that it was me. It was a sort of young me but not quite.

    What the hell had happened?

As I regained my faculties I found that I was aware of things that had never crossed my mind before - in fact things that I had never known before. This was weird but my circumstances were about to get even more weird.

I looked around for the source of a faint hissing noise but before I could find it I felt very tired, climbed back on the bed and went to sleep.

    I woke up.

What is this? I thought, not again. Wake up! Lay down! Wake up! Go to sleep! Wake up! This is getting tedious.

    Welcome, a voice said.

Wow, where did that come from?

I jumped up, looked around but no one was there.

No hospital room either. I was in a hotel room, five stars in fact. So where the hell was I and who the devil was talking to me?

Welcome Earthlet, we trust you are well, said the voice.

OK, stop mucking about, don’t hide, stop taking the mickey out of me and tell me what is going on, right now? I cried out angrily.

I had an Astronaut’s panoramic view of space

Pull your curtains and take a look out of the window, the voice replied calmly.

I hesitated, then, Right I will, and it’d better be good, I exclaimed.

I did it. I yanked back the curtains, peered out cockily and stepped back sharply, very sharply.

Good God, what the hell, what on earth is that, where am I? I shouted.

That’s just the point, said the voice, it’s not God, you are not on earth and certainly not in hell, well at least not yet, ha ha. That’s a bit of Earthlet humour for you, by the way.

    Yeah, very funny!

But the view wasn’t. It was incredible.

I had an Astronaut’s panoramic view of space. The sky was just a crystal clear dark void with millions of stars shining like arc lamps.

The Earth and Moon seemed to be suspended motionless in nothingness, their contrasting colors appearing glorious in the reflected light from the Sun.

The stars also seemed to be making patterns in the sky, forming shapes and words, or was it just my new found imagination and perception?

I now knew where I wasn’t but I wanted to know where I was.

The voice seemed able to read my thoughts.
