    Dedication

To My Family, Ahmed, Fahad, Jana, Yousef, and Leena.

    Maha

First of all and most importantly, I thank Allah the Almighty for His gracious blessings. None of this would have been possible without His guidance and willing, with which, I was blessed!

I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for never leaving me out of their prayers.

My Husband and Kids for their continued sacrifices and support.

My Brothers and Their Families for their encouragement and love.

My In-Laws and Friends for believing in me.

The My Little Cake Shop family for their patience, and perseverance.

And last but not least, My Customers, whose support, feedback, and loyalty have been the candle that led me to where I am now.

Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) Said: (The best amongst you are those who are most useful to others). With this book, I hope to be one of those who openly and willingly help others find what they are looking for, and follow in the footsteps of those who have done this before me.

Harriet Tubman said Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Thanks, Allah, for making me a dreamer.

    Introduction

Inspired by my passion for creativity and my daughter’s love of everything artsy, my shop, and this book, came to life!

I strongly believe in the importance of creative expression, especially for kids! Through the exciting marriage of arts & crafts and edible sugar, emerges Sugar Art. People all over the world are starting to recognize the joy and excitement they feel when working with a sugar project that is 100% edible! It is a creative outlet that satisfies their sweet tooth and pleases their eyes at the same time!

If you imagine a cake as a blank canvas waiting for you to paint on it, the possibilities are endless! Once you start experimenting with different techniques and mediums, it will quickly become an addiction that is hard to ignore!
