About this ebook

In the midst of worldwide financial upheavals and economic turmoil, God is calling us to rest and spiritual soliloquy with Him. Just as Jesus saw the travail of His soul and was satisfied (Isaiah 53:11), we also must pass through travails, not edgy, but eager to do His will. I am a witness to this paradigm shift, and my personal experience is highlighted in this book.

An eager person with a winning attitude accounts for 80 percent of the results in this country today. Its amazing that the figures dont change from year to year. They stay about the same. Twenty percent of the people are getting 80 percent of the result.

    Foreword

The person who is successful at being eager according to the Word of God is the one who will do what the average person will not do: submit wholeheartedly to God. Thinking wrong, believing wrong, and talking wrong always lead to an unhappy, mediocre, and unprofitable way of life and will cause you to be edgy.

To be enthusiastic for God, to become better, to believe big, and to strive to be above average in your eagerness to faithfully serve God, you must be willing to die to yourself and develop the right kind of mental processes.

You may think you have been programmed to be edgy, to be negative, disbelieve, to be skeptical. However, you can change. Those negative experiences—the minuses—can be transformed into positives and pluses simply by denying yourself, taking up your cross, and following Him.

Psychologist William James said, The greatest discovery of my generation is that men can change their circumstances by changing their attitude of mind. We are taught that changing the input can change those thoughts. What goes in must come out. You can control your future, because you have the power to control your thoughts.

Philippians 2:5–8 says, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form
